    “Beautiful little cottage.”

The views were worth the walk up the steps to get to the cottage.

The property

This quaint, 18th century fisherman's cottage is situated in the North Wales coastal town of Barmouth.

It has been lovingly renovated with a modern feel, ideal for a romantic getaway in a lovely part of the country.

The Ingle retains so much of the original charm, with exposed stone walls, flagstone flooring and ceiling beams, you won't want to leave.

Perched on 'The Rock', a historic conservation area above Barmouth's bustling seafront, you benefit from tranquillity, seclusion and panoramic views of the Mawddach estuary and mountains beyond. It all makes the short climb up the winding historic steps or steep path worth it every time!

Use the open-plan living room to unwind, cook up a meal for you and your loved one in the kitchenette and then retire to the well-presented bedroom, which comes with an en-suite shower room.Every inch has been utilised to maximise the space in this quaint but quirky cottage.

It is easy to see why Barmouth is such a popular spot for holidaymakers all year round.

Miles of sweeping sandy beaches to explore, an array of coastal and inland walks, not to mention a variety of watersports right on your doorstep.

In addition, there is a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to sample.

If you are thirsting for more adventure, there is plenty more to keep you busy just a short drive away, such as Coed Y Brenin Forest Park with it's mountain bike routes and walks, the historic town of Harlech with its cliff-top castle or the pretty market town of Dolgellau.

The Ingle is a romantic retreat at the beautiful Welsh coast.

Note: There is no road access to The Ingle, not even to drop off bags. Whilst the path and steps up to thw house only take a few minutes from the main street, it is a steep climb and not suitable for the less able.
Note: It is a space-saving alternate tread staircase to the first floor.
