    It was so lovely to have throws and cushions returned after covid. A few things to attend to...the small lamp didn't work, probably just a bulb but that's so easy fir someone to check and it wasn't checked. 3 of the lights in the bathroom did not work so they need replacing. The bathroom as a result was a bit gloomy. Again this is so easy to check before we go in but it wasn't done. There were no fryingboans in the kitchen. I stayed here in June and there were 2 frying pans. I was very lucky ...

    It was so lovely to have throws and cushions returned after covid. I stayed here in June and there were 2 frying pans. I was very lucky that cleaners were in half way through my week servicing another flat so I told them and they produced 2 brand new frying pans. Hiw lucky! All these things need to be checked before the flat is occupied. The flat is self catering and at an off peak season there is a real scarcity of eating out places to go to. It would really help if an inventory of kitchen equipment was done on a regular basis. Other than these few niggles we had a marvellous week and have already booked 2 weeks for next year. However I would need to feel a bit more confident now that the flat is properly equipped.

Harlech 2 - Bendigeidfran is a lovely first floor holiday apartment in Harlech next to the majestic castle in Harlech!

Offering quality furnishings, stunning views of the castle with the sea and mountains beyond, this is a stylish first floor holiday apartment that has real comfort and a chic feel.

This is one of five apartments in a complex in the grounds of historic Harlech castle. "One of five luxury apartments in the grounds of the medieval Harlech Castle, it is the largest of the five.

From here you can enjoy access to some of Cadw's most popular heritage sites!" One bedroom: 1 x super king (zip/link option can be made as twin beds by request), 1 x wet-room has a shower with drencher head, loo and a low wash hand basin.

There is a pull down seat in the shower, Open living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting room with iPod docking station, Smart TV. Combination microwave oven & grill, Bosch oven, hob & extractor fan, cafetiere, fridge with freezer compartment.

Wifi.

Linen and towels provided.

Amenities on your doorstep.

Note: there are no doors to any of the rooms as it's all open plan (other than bathroom with frosted glass door).

About the location

HARLECH

Barmouth 11 miles; Porthmadog 10 miles.

Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.
