The property

26 Cae Du is a welcoming, three-storey end-terrace cottage in a fantastic location on the Llŷn Peninsula, located in the popular coastal resort of Abersoch.

The home is set over three storeys and features a contemporary layout with a communal garden, and two bathrooms, making it ideal for a family of eight looking for a coastal getaway.

On arrival; head straight to the kitchen for a well-equipped space to conjure up hearty meals, complete with a dishwasher for easy clean-ups and a breakfast bar to sit and keep the chef company.

Set the dining table for eight people upstairs, where floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with light, before settling in for a movie in front of the woodburning stove.

Escape to the communal garden includes a lawn for playing outside in the sunshine.

After a fun-filled day at the beach, head to one of two bathrooms, which include a ground-floor bathroom and a lower-ground-floor wet room, both tastefully designed with a sophisticated finish.

A utility cupboard with a washing machine is also located on the lower ground floor, where you can wash your sandy towels!

With Smart TVs and storage in each of the three bedrooms, all guests have lovely spaces to catch their rest; the ground-floor super-king-size is zip/link for flexible sleeping, while the lower ground floor has a king-size and a double bunk room.

Start your day with a hot cup of tea on the first-floor balcony to plan your day's activities; Abersoch's attractions are right on your doorstep, whether you're looking for a choice of watersports, a round of golf, or simply sitting on the sandy beach and stopping for food at a local café.

The Llŷn Peninsula is a walker's dream, with plenty of coastal pathways to explore while taking in the sights of a stunning part of North Wales.

Pwllheli, a thriving market town with a bustling harbour, classic beachfront arcades, and Traeth Marian-y-de Beach, is a must-see.

Aberdaron is a lovely village at the tip of the peninsula with a fantastic surfing beach, small cafés and bakeries, and coastal trails with panoramic views out to Ynys Enlli.

About the location

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
