Crowrach Uchaf Barn is a stone-built, standalone barn conversion resting in the countryside of the Llyn Peninsula in Bwlchtocyn near Abersoch, Gwynedd.

This wonderful domicile is a perfect hideaway for a family of nine, located within easy distance of the peninsula's southern coast and boasting views of the sea from its shared gardens.

When you arrive, you'll be thrilled to see plenty of off-road parking, as well as capacity for boat parking, allowing you to bring your own sailing equipment.

As you enter this wonderful home, you'll see stone floors and old barn elements peppered throughout, complementing the tasteful decor.

Progress to the   sitting room, where a woodburning stove will keep you toasty while you cuddle up on the plush sofa and watch a Freeview show on the TV.

Make your way to the galley kitchen after much-needed relaxation and quality time, where the designated chef of the party can enjoy rustling up mouthwatering meals with the range cooker's electric double ovens; proceed outside to discover a utility with washing facilities and a freezer for additional food storage space.

When supper is ready, gather in the dining room and tuck into a delectable meal; the room features a charming mezzanine area accessible by a ladder.

As the day gives way to night, retire to one of the three delightful bedrooms, two of which are located on the ground floor and include a king-size room and a family room with a double and bunk bed; head upstairs to locate the twin room which offers an optional third single and is ideal for the children of the group.

Two bathrooms on the ground floor, a shower room and a bathroom with a separate bath and walk-in shower, complete the property's interior. The barn also has access to large, communal gardens, where you can stretch your legs and enjoy alfresco dinners while taking in the stunning sea views.

Get to know the area by visiting Machroes Beach or Traeth Porth Ceiriad, followed by a visit to the local farm shop for some fresh produce and local wares.

Spend some time at Abersoch, where you'll find plenty of activities, including a renowned golf club, two lovely beaches with sailing schools and surfboard rentals, and access to the Llyn Coastal Path.

Continue along the coast, either by foot or by vehicle, to the welcoming community of Llanbedrog, where you can explore its intriguing art gallery, sunbathe on the village's golden sands, or trek over the neighbouring headland.

Visit the extensive beach of Hell's Mouth before exploring the wonderful National Trust property of Plas yn Rhiw for an afternoon full of history and beautiful scenery.

From picture-perfect communities like Pwllheli and Aberdaron to outdoor activities like trekking along Mynydd Mawr and horseback riding through Cilan Uchaf, the Llyn peninsula is jam-packed with things to see and do.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
