“The chalet was great, location brilliant and facilities good too can’t complain one bit about that.”

It wasnt particularly clean though, we found on the surface it looked ok but a dog toy under one sofa and a half eaten breadstick was kicked out of another and a half eaten biscuit in a cupboard. The info given at check in is also wrong. There is no code for the gate despite being given one and the link to set up the automatic car reg doesn’t work. The info given at check in is also wrong. There is no code for the gate despite being given one and the link to set up the automatic car reg doesn’t work. This made it really frustrating when trying to get back in having to call the security each time, whilst they go over security questions and recommend we speak to the owner to sort (which we did via yourselves) it’s a shame as paying nearly a £1000 for 4 nights I would have expected it to be pretty crisp and clean. The chalet though as I say is in a brilliant position and is well equipped, hot tub brilliant and beds and showers all great.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
