Nicola “Lovely cottage.”
Quite remote but lovely and peaceful. TV signal not great but once we logged into Netflix that worked fine! The only mirror is in the bathroom which is inconvenient so would suggest mirrors in bedroom for us ladies. Take extra caution when exiting front bedroom due to immediate step down. The above points have been highlighted previously on reviews. Beds very comfy altho feather duvets/pillows used so not good for asthma sufferers

Sarah “The cottage is really nice and the garden is lovely, my issue is with the poor housekeeping, please note this is different to cleanliness.”
I have already raised concerns with Sykes but haven’t heard back, this is now over a week ago. I am unhappy because: Dirty nappy in bathroom bin Dirty tea towels - 1 was disgusting No toilet roll not even just one roll until we could get to the shop Bins left at bottom of garden Dishwasher not emptied Cafetières put back in the cupboard dirty No first aid kit even though stated in reference book that there was one A bottle of milk would have been nice Only 3 towels left Given it was £800 for a 4 night stay I expected far better. I usually use Airbnb but thought I’d try Sykes for a change, I wish I hadn’t.
- Sarah, August 2023Kate “Lovely well looked after cottage.”
Amazing interior. One bedroom leads directly onto stairs with no landing which the description does say so just bear this in mind when booking with small children. The cottage and gardens were stunning. Lots provided logs, cleaning materials, Would definitely book again!
- Kate, July 2023Carolyn “Quaint cottage, beautifully and tastefully renovated.”
. Perhaps a fridge with small freezer space for ice and frozen food would help due to the location being quiet isolated. Garden would benefit from maintenance, over growing plants made accessibility along the path difficult due to wet windy weather.
- Carolyn, June 2023Helen “Perfect weekend hideaway!”
Everything inside felt brand new. Beds were super comfortable, garden is incredible and sunset view is a showstopper. Would have loved some coffee, extra toilet roll and beds made pre-arrival but apart from that couldn't fault the cottage. We already can't wait to return.
- Helen, June 2023Thank you for letting me know about the beds and loo roll. I m glad you still enjoyed your stay. If you have any other feedback please don't hesitate to reach out to me on Instagram @felin_eithin. I look forward to welcoming you back soon. Property Owner
