The village is right on the waterfront, with a little harbour, and 5 minute walk from the beach. It also has two restaurants and is a 20 minute walk from Porthmadog which has shops, including a supermarket and petrol stations, and a wider selection of restaurants. The cottage itself was very sweet and clearly a lot of effort had gone into adding personal touches, such as decorations. The only slight downside was it was missing a couple of essential such washing up liquid, salt and pepper, and oven gloves. They also only provided a little bit of watered-down soap and one toilet roll for a week - so make sure you bring your own!
