This family-friendly abode provides a perfect base for a family or group of seven, plus their canine companion, just moments from the beach and local amenities.

Leave your car in the driveway, which has room for two cars, and you'll be greeted by a large front lawn with seating, ideal for sipping your morning coffee while the kids and your four-legged friend play.

Step into the kitchen/diner, where you'll find everything, you will need to prepare delectable feasts for your loved ones to enjoy at the dining table with a celebratory bottle of fizz.

A handy utility/cloakroom just off the kitchen houses a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer for your convenience.

On warmer days, dine alfresco out on the rear decking with a barbecue.

As the evening draws in, retire to the sitting room, which has a large bay window with views of the garden, and relax on the plush seating in front of your favourite show on the Smart TV, while the gas fire adds a gentle warmth and glow to the space.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, where you can freshen up after a day spent at the beach with a hot shower in the well-equipped shower room before resting in one of four well-presented bedrooms, three doubles and one single, all with plenty of storage for your belongings.

Explore your surroundings, where you can take leisurely walks along the harbour while eating fresh fish and chips, sample fresh seafood at The Potted Lobster and The Cove, or stock up on fresh ingredients at the convenience store to prepare family favourites in the comfort of Hillcroft.

Pack up your bathing suits, swimming trunks, and beach towels and head straight for Abersoch Beach's glorious sands, where you can bathe, paddle the shores, or try your hand at the locals' favourite sport, wakeboarding.

The village also has an excellent golf club with panoramic sea views, ideal for those who want to putt with a view!

Continue on to Pwllheli, which has its own fantastic beach and golf club, as well as the Discover Llŷn adventure sports centre, where you can hire e-bikes, paddleboards, or embark on a guided tour of the stunning Llŷn Peninsula.

Further afield is Criccieth, where you can explore the remarkable Castell Criccieth with sweeping sea views, spend a day beachcombing on Criccieth Beach, or hook your catch of the day in the nearby Eisteddfa Fishery & Café.

You can easily get to Porthmadog from here, where you can ride a vintage steam train at the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, see local wildlife at the Traeth Glaslyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, or visit the Black Rock Llamas.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
