“Perfect house for a larger group.”

More than enough space for 8 adults and 2 children. Owners communication was top tier. The house was decorated for Christmas for our arrival. Very clean throughout. Pub very close, beaches 5 minute drive. Would highly recommend. Thank you

The property

Resting in the little village of Chwilog, on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, sits this wonderful period home, Gwynle.

Set over three floors and boasting a generous rear garden, this charming abode is a great choice for families and friends to come together and enjoy this exciting Welsh region.

The property is believed to date back to the late 1800’s when it was once occupied by a Captain, however it has now been maintained and modernised to offer a more contemporary living space yet still retains all the charm and character in keeping with age and period.

Spend your down time in the sitting room, appointed with two plush sofas where you can snuggle up in front of the woodburning stove, discussing the day’s events or browsing the TV for something to watch.

The contemporary kitchen/diner boasts a real wow factor; with a beautiful open-plan design and bespoke touches, including granite work surfaces and a multi-fuel burner.

The double-glazed conservatory offers a charming spot to sit and overlook the garden as the little ones happily roam the lawn.

The bedrooms at this Chwilog cottage are set over the first and second floor, offering two doubles and twin on the first-floor, served by a beautiful bathroom where you can enjoy a deep soak in the freestanding bath, while the second floor is smaller and offers a well-presented double bedroom with sitting area and a second bathroom with walk-in shower.

Enjoy summer evenings in the spacious garden, with a summer house and patio area with seating; it's perfect for hosting alfresco dining and entertaining long into the night.

Chwilog is a quaint little village and offers a welcoming pub where you can enjoy a night away from the kitchen, while the town of Cricceith is only a little further afield and offers a wealth of amenities, including its imposing 13th- century castle.

There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area, including the beautiful coastal path where you can admire uninterrupted sea views or visit St Cybi’s Well, a hidden holy well nestled in a secluded spot at the base of the Llyn Peninsula.

You are situated in a truly wonderful position, with easy access to the thriving coastline for a number of attractions, such as Pwllheli beach, ideal for those sunny afternoons playing beach games with your little ones or taking the opportunity to go for a swim in the clear waters.

With all this, plus the beautiful coastal town of Porthmadog nearby, there’s much to fill your holiday itinerary at Gwynle, whatever time of year.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
