Claire “The cottage was really so comfy and with teenage sons, the attic space where they could sit and read/ play a game completely away from mum and dad was incredible - it made the stay for them I think.”
The access in Conwy is restricted and we did have a couple of issues being able to park. We did a several-point turn on our arrival, then reversed up every other time (thankfully hubby did all the driving!) - we had some issues with 4*4's parked in the middle of the road one day, a work van in front of our place another, but we knocked at random and the help to find/ resolve was always really amazing. Aksana “Thank you for the fantastic Welsh hospitality.”
Had a lovely, if not too short break at Conway. Amazing cottage in a stunning location; so very comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Lovely walks, fab views, and all the comforts we needed. Excellent base for travelling around. We will certainly re book and be back in the future.
- Aksana, July 2021Jason “Great little cottage.”
It has everything you will need, and then some. Very pleased with cleanliness and tidyness of property when we arrived and the welcome pack was lovely. Lovely quiet location, but literally 2 minutes walk from the town or the harbour!! I would advise to reverse up the street as turning around if you drive up may be a problem. We never had a problem parking outside the cottage. We would recommend L`s Coffee & Bookshop! Very very friendly! Tea and coffee and food amazing!! Lovely lovely friendly staff and owners. The open top bus tour to Llandudno is quite good (on a sunny day!) Altogether, a very relaxing holiday!
- Jason, July 2021Robert “The property was described as having off road parking, it did not have off road parking.”
Parking was on the road with poor access ie you needed to reverse the length of Sea View Terrace to park out side Havens End. We would not have chosen this property if the parking had been correctly described. The Refuse Bin men did not return the bins, we had to go looking for them in Chapel lane! A ridiculous state of affairs. We did not find a food waste bin until the evening. There was an influx of ants in the kitchen area (sink/draining board/worktop) more apparent in the afternoon. The front bedroom window could not be opened, we like and are used to fresh air in our bedrooms!
- Robert, April 2021Malcolm “This is basically a nice little cottage, but needs a few tweaks to make it more suitable for older people.”
I am 80years old and found it difficult to get into & out of the bath which was very High sided plus being on legs. It was also impossible to completely close the shower curtain resulting with water on bathroom floor. Also the main bedroom window is permanently locked and impossible to open making the room very stuffy.although I managed most of the time a couple of times were quite a problem, this is not a complaint It goes with the layout of the street and has to be accepted. It could be mentioned to future clients particularly those with larger cars.
- Malcolm, September 2020Susan “This cottage is listed with off road parking and come up when I put the off road parking filter on.”
We always want off road parking as we have experienced parking problems at another cottage which spoilt the holiday. The parking is actually on road, yes it is in front of the cottage as the road is a dead end. However as there are holiday cottages both sides of the road then the only way to park is reversing up the road, which is on a hill, between the already parked cars. It was always a very difficult manoeuvre and could only be done one of the days by the other occupants moving their cars about. Interestingly the opposite side of the road is called Seaview Terrace, Conwy. You have number 15 listed which shows on road parking. Your listing needs to be changed for Havens End, although we did enjoy the holiday we would not have picked this cottage.
- Susan, September 2020Susan “The cottage is lovely and cosy and in a perfect location in a quiet cul de sac just off the high street.”
There’s so much to do in the area we ran out of time to do everything we planned so we’re coming back!
- Susan, July 2020Anthony “The time we spent was very enjoyable and the town of Conwy had many things to offer.”
Myself and my partner felt very relaxed and comfortable during our time at Havens end. This is somewhere I would definitely recommend to anyone else the place is very calm and peaceful. Ideal for a quiet break away I hope to return in the near future. Many thanks to.the owners for letting us experience this wonderful cosy home. Anthony and Diane.
- Anthony, March 2020Gordon “Excellent location, lovely place and very clean and comfortable.”
- Gordon, February 2020Stephen “Very nice place but the hill was a bit steep to the cottage can't fault anything about our stay.”
- Stephen, August 2019Patricia “Lovely cottage warm and comfortable.”
Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. We where able to do some walking from the cottage, lots to do in the area. We had a lovely week and would go back again.
- Patricia, May 2019Miranda “Lovely cottage in a great location.”
We've booked to return!
- Miranda, October 2018Amy “Lovely cottage in a great location.”
- Amy, October 2018Alan “Friday change over dates are not helpful to customers as you have to take an extra days leave, from your work entitlement, to cover the weeks holiday.”
Also traffic is at it's worse on a Friday. A Saturday change over date is much better
- Alan, September 2018Dhipa “Thank you so much for making our stay at this property so welcoming and pleasant.”
My husband and two young boys thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable to stay in and beautifully presented. Thank you so much for the finishing touches such as the flowers and wine and essentials that you kindly kept for us in the kitchen and fridge and cupboards. We loved how convenient the location was too, a few steps away from the shops, groceries, restaurants and harbour. We loved the views of Conwy and how easy it was for us to enjoy the outdoors in Snowdonia National Park. We had a wonderful holiday in Wales. Thank you again for making it such a memorable one!

About the location
CONWY
Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.
Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
