    “The property is lovely.”

It is really well equipped with most things we needed for our 7 day stay and it we didn’t have to go out and buy toilet roll, washing up liquid, bin bags etc as we have at some other properties. It is perfectly situated to enjoy what North Wales has to offer and it is in a peaceful location. This is a great place to kick back from it all so it was really disappointing that, after a few evenings of trying to relax in the living room that we both found the sofa and chairs really uncomfortable ...

It is perfectly situated to enjoy what North Wales has to offer and it is in a peaceful location. This is a great place to kick back from it all so it was really disappointing that, after a few evenings of trying to relax in the living room that we both found the sofa and chairs really uncomfortable and difficult to relax on and the suite has definitely seen better days. If the sofa suite is updated to something comfortable the place is perfect

The property

Llo Bach is a unique holiday cottage set in glorious isolation in the Welsh countryside.

The cottage is in a very rural location but not too far from the village of Llangernyw, located in the beautiful Elwy Valley close to where the River Cledwen joins the River Elwy. The interior of Llo Bach is an eclectic mix of carefully chosen furniture and unique decorative items.Of particular note is the magnificent tapestry and the formal Afghan outfit hanging on a wall.

Enter though a wonderful , large mudroom, givng you enough room to shed the outdoor gear and dry the dog, however the heart of the house is a double height sitting and dining area, the focal point of which is a gorgeous revolving log burner that you can aim in the direction of your choice.

Adjacent to this is the well equipped country-style kitchen which has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, and a small table to enjoy a more relaxed dinning experience or breakfast. There is a downstairs cloakroom with a loo. Up several, wide, polished wooden steps from the welcoming dinning room is a lovely alcove with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, here you will find an array of books with local and historical information.

There is a large sitting room up here with plenty of comfy seating and an open fire.French doors open out onto the pretty courtyard outside.

This house has an eclectic mix of furniture and decorative bits and bobs set in the heart of the Welsh Countryside; a perfect location to unwind and enjoy walking in Snowdonia. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one has a double bed, pretty dressing table and ample storage in the built in closets, en-suite is a bathroom, the other bedroom has twin singles and also benefits from an en-suite with shower.

This is an open and sociable house, situated in beautiful scenery with lovely walks in the surrounding areas. From here, it is only 10 miles to the sandy beaches at Conwy Morfa and Llandudno, and 10 miles to the Snowdonia National Park.

Llangernyw has an antiques shop, a village shop with a post office, and two pubs. There are some local attractions in the area, but the village is most renowned for the 4500 to 5000-year-old yew tree in the grounds of St Digain's Church in the centre of the village. Here you are able to touch one of the three oldest living things on the planet! The yew tree took root sometime in the Bronze Age and is still a thriving and healthy tree today.

If you are looking for a holiday cottage with a difference, then Llo Bach will hit the spot!If you have more than 4 in your party why not rent Llo Bach Bach as well.
