I can from the visitors information see that the owners took over this cottage in 2021 so my comments are only ment as information I’m not trying to be harsh or critical just helpful as I would want this info myself. The cottage is beautiful and in fantastic location immediate impressions were great. However the cleanliness was really poor Especially in covid times . I made a last minute booking but as changeovers always happen in time limited conditions and I have experience of this I don’t think It should have been a factor . The bin had not been emptied and the rubbish in it was not in a bag cleaners should have made this one of the priorities with covid. The kitchen units need attention to detail the inside top of drawers have marks which can easily be wiped off .The dishwasher had not been emptied therefore not cleaned . The floor had not been mopped and was sticky and really dirty which would have been quickly remedied by myself if there was a mop in the property . If you leave a clean mop head as its dog friendly most reasonable dog owners would expect to clean the floors during the week . The sofas are literally awful again I know it’s dog friendly but they are in a state again I know this can be a problem but there should be spare covers you can put on . I’m off out in a bit to get a mop ! If you as an owner get to read this then I suggest you take a look at the sofas and think if you’d want to sit on them . yourself that’s my measure .

Thank you for your feedback. We were very surprised by some of the comments but we will attend to all of them. It was an unexpected changeover, with a booking only 19 hours before arrival, but the cottage should have been fully ready. We do apologise and it won’t happen again Owner relations
