“Just stayed here for a week all things considered I would say it is the best holiday place we have ever stayed.”
Can’t think of anything I would change. If it comes for sale I would like to buy it
“WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, THIS WAS A NEW EXPERIENCE FOR US AS MY WIFE HAS DEMENTIA, THE ONLY NEGATIVE AT TIMES WAS THE WEATHER - IF IT IS POSSIBLE COULD YOU ARRANGE BETTER WEATHER NEXT TIME.”
“Comfortable, well equipped and with marvellous views over the town and seawards.”
“It’s not very often a cottage exceeds our expectations but Paradwys did just that.”
We have all said it was the best cottage we have stayed in and we holiday in Wales every year. The views from the property are out of this world and the cottage itself was so tastefully decorated and spacious with a beautifully maintained garden. There were six very sad people and one sad little dog when we had to check out yesterday morning. We would love to return but I don’t think the cottage is being let next year. We wish we’d discovered it years ago and could have enjoyed many holidays in it.
“Paradise as the title says!”
As a regular renter of cottages this one sits very high on list of "Bests" I must say! Location wise its beautiful in Criccieth..just our kind of quiet but with enough going on. Its position on the hillside overlooking the bay is just amazing! What fabulous views and at night the castle all lit up is dominant and visible from bedrooms and the loungs and conservatory. The size of the place was bigger than we bargained for and tastefully furnished throughout. The king bed in the main bedroom has a memory foam mattress much to the delight of my post surgical spine..a feature they should have made more of! The kitchen was a delight and SO much in the way of utensils and crockery. We guessed correctly that the owners must have been from the Potteries...its not often you get Royal Doulton tableware! And enough crocs to feed the whole town! lol. Usually there is always a little something or two that niggle...in this place we found nothing we would say needs improving. Maybe the only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a gate across the drive at the top so that the dog couldnt wonder off. (but as shes a veteran Border collie it never happened anyway) My daughter, son in law and granddaughter joined us for the first weekend and they too were delighted with it and were keen that we may perhaps hire this again in the future..they also were enchanted with the area. A weekend was not enough to see all the bounty this wonderful area has to offer. So it was that we determined we would book again for definite...most unusual for us I have to say. BUT..this was all shot down when the maintenance man called to cut the lawn and after chatting with him it appears this property is being taken off the market after this season! Devastated! Lets hope the owners change their minds! But even having stayed here for this one visit has been a huge privilige and the property is a great credit to the owners- this is how it should be done! So a very big thank you for giving us at least one week in this dream cottage..it was most wonderful and made even better by lovely weather. Its one of those properties where you sit there at night looking across the bay and comment that " I could live here,.." Felt comfortable and homely as soon as you walk in. So sad that we are not going to be able to enjoy a repeat performance....but thank you!!!
“The cottage was at the top of the list from the many we have visited.”
perfect in all respects..especially the views and quiet. What a beautiful are too! No mention was made of the incredible foam mattress in the king bed....which for a post lumbar surgery patient was an absolute blessing. Literally the only thing I could think of improving would be to secure the back area with a fence and gate across the drive. Having said that I doubt the owners would be interested in doing that as I understand from next year they are no longer letting this wonderful bungalow. Which is a great shame indeed as without doubt we would have returned again next year!
“We were really impressed with this accommodation.”
Clean, comfy and with everything we needed and stunning sea views as a bonus.
“A very clean bungalow in a super setting.”
Felt very homely and very well resourced.
“Lovely bungalow with great views.”
Bungalow as every thing we need for our two weeks holiday. It will be our third year in 2018. Thanks. A handrail would be helpful to assist in climbing the steps to the front door. Thank You.

“First one we had to move out off as no bathroom facilitys because of leak.”
“Spacious and well equipped.”
“It had everything going for it.”
It was close to the beach and the town centre. Lovely, clean and close to lots of places to visit. The garden was well maintained with plenty of outdoor seating.
“This bungalow has the WOW factor for sure.”
...well equipped, spotlessly clean with lovely views to the sea...housekeeper very friendly and accommodating...you will not be disappointed
“This proved to be a really comfortable, well equipped holiday home.”
The views are amazing from the lounge and front bedrooms, giving a panoramic view of the coastline. The home is well furnished and provides just enough soft furnishings to make it feel like home without being cluttered. The separate cloakroom was a welcome addition to the bathroom. A further second bathroom or en suite would have made this 5 stars instead of 4. There are warnings about the drop in surface in the back garden and we did watch our four year old very carefully. However, perhaps there is a way of reducing the risk of an accident even further by means of a low border fence to alert youngsters of the edge. We would certainly recommend this property to others despite this last comment.
