The web description was accurate and on arriving, we found everything nice and clean and tidy. Such a pleasant change to be able to go to sleep and wake up hearing the waves wash up against the promenade! Criccieth is a lovely town and gives an opportunity to explore more widely the Llyn Penninsula and this area of north west Wales. There was mention in the welcome pack I think of a visitors book but sadly we couldn't find it to add these positive words! The wife said it would be nice to have a dressing table in the bedroom but in fairness, I don't know where you could find the room as everything is nicely compact as it is. We're not usually the 'go back' types, but we would certainly seriously consider another short break away in Ardudwy if we ever need a brief escape from home in west Wales.

The property

Wake up to fantastic sea views from this lovely first floor apartment on the promenade of the pretty seaside town of Criccieth.

Well equipped, stylish and comfortable the bedroom views from both the bed and the well placed window stool are perfect for your morning cuppa.

The turreted corner in the sitting area gives panoramic views in both directions of this very special coastline. 'A fabulous apartment for two by the sea - perfect!' Criccieth is a firm favourite among our discerning visitors - once you have been here, you will return time after time.

With its imposing castle, interesting individual shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, Cadwaladers' ice cream and a chip shop reputed to be the best for miles and miles, it really does have something for everyone right on the doorstep!

Close by there are so many things to do, with some of North Wales' best attractions just a short drive away.

Go paintballing, horse riding, surfing, golfing - or, if you prefer something more leisurely, simply take a walk along the coastal path.

Ride through stunning scenery by steam train, or stroll around the Italianate village of Portmeirion!

Ardudwy, Castell and LLyn are three recently renovated apartments in The Towers, sleeping 11 in total, which can be let individually or all together, making them ideal, flexible holiday homes for your Welsh getaway.
