Davies Family “Thank you for our time at Cricieth, we were absolutely delighted with the cottage.”
The lovely hamper was also much appreciated. It worked out really well for us and was most convenient for going back and forth to the Eisteddfod. There was no problem with the parking although Cricieth was full with visitors. I took a couple of photographs to show to family and friends in case they fancy staying there. We'd like to stay there again in the future as we are very fond of that part of the country, besides which, there is that fabulous shoe shop!! Davies Family

Izzy Warrington “Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you might need.”
Really comfy beds and extra pillows in the wardrobes. Fabulous little picnic bench on the back patio - we managed to use it a few times between the showers! We really enjoyed our week in Criccieth and discovered some great places to eat (Dylans is highly recommended) The shops, beach and train station are all within easy walking distance. Loved it - Thank you!
- Izzy Warrington, Jul 2023Steve D'Henin “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trem Y Mor!”
The cottage was spotless and equipped with everything we needed, and we appreciated the welcome pack when we arrived. Parking nearby was easy and the house is in a great location for the beach and the high street. Great views from the kitchen and main bedroom. We will be back!
- Steve D'Henin, Jul 2023Laura “Property could have been cleaner but wasn’t dirty.”
Pillows need renewing they are really bad quality. Outside furniture could do with being replaced. Brick gate post is loose (didn’t impair holiday but just bringing it to attention) Fabulous location one week was not enough. Thank you
- Laura, June 2023Rosalind “Wonderful location.”
The view from master bedroom was incredible. So close to the beach. Parking nearby. Thoughtfully renovated property. Listing was accurate except I don't recall mention of the trainline being at close. Didn't bother us as we live near a train line and this line is quiet but might bother others. I thought bedroom 3 was going to be accessible through bedroom 2 but the adjoining door is an extra one. My kids had fun running laps of the landing and their bedrooms! House was clean 'in the middle' but needed a deep clean into nooks and crannies and skirting boards for my preference, mainly dust but a little mould from damp (it was obvious that this was being managed as just a few specks around windows but wasn't quite to my expectations). Master bed needed a clean mattress protector. I'd expect this to be changed with most bookings. Nothing that would put me off recommending the property overall though. Loads of useful storage in bathroom and coat hooks in kitchen. Lots of hangers (a handful of kid size ones would be helpful). Beds and bedding comfortable. Sitting room comfy but we barely used it as weather was fabulous. Garden furniture was very wobbly and needs repair or replacement, but perfectly placed. For anyone travelling with light sensitive sleepers, you may struggle to black out the bunk bed room as it has a tiny skylight way up high with a thin blind so you can't put a travel blind up. Well stocked for towels, tea towels, oven gloves, soap and some cleaning products. Only thing missing that would have been appreciated was toilet roll. A wonderful last minute holiday choice. Thank you to Sykes for help choosing the property and the owners for a lovely house.
- Rosalind, May 2023I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and felt that Trem Y Mor was a wonderful holiday choice. The views are indeed incredible. I apologise that there was some dust on the skirting boards and no toilet roll. We certainly aim to ensure all the basics are provided for your arrival, including a welcome pack with bread, milk etc, and can only assume there was an oversight on this occasion. I will feed this back to the housekeeping team. I'm delighted that you'd be happy to recommend the property and that you enjoyed the fabulous weather! Property Owner
Shulakshitha “We stayed for 3 nights.”
The house was extremely well maintained. It was also very well equipped with basic amenities such as salt, pepper, sugar, dishwasher liquid. The house had comfortable beds, an amazing view from the kitchen and clean restrooms. We were also welcomed with a cute welcome package containing cake, bread and milk. Although they have mentioned that the property does not have parking, there is roadside parking available very close to the property.
- Shulakshitha, April 2023I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. I also appreciate you taking the time to leave such positive feedback. Do think about staying with us again if you are in the area. Many thanks again, Emma Property Owner
Edmund “We had a lovely stay and were very pleased with the house.”
There was everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. Only slight issue was not being able to park outside to load/unload but this was clearly advised and there was plently of parking round the corner. Thank you.
- Edmund, April 2023Thank you for your lovely feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Do consider staying with us again if you are in the area in future! Best Wishes, Emma Property Owner
Claire and Barry “We enjoyed a wonderful Easter break at the cottage this half term.”
It is clean and well presented, with a lovely little patio and seating area at the back. The views from the kitchen and main bedroom are stunning. With handy street parking within minutes and very convenient shops and restaurants, we would definitely recommend a stay.
- Claire and Barry, Apr 2023Helen “Fantastic property in centre of town.”
Owners very accommodating when we booked at extremely short notice. Sea views from the back are outstanding. It's clear a lot of care and attention has gone into making this a home away from home. Everything we needed was there. Parking nearby in the town was very easy.
- Helen, February 2023Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm really pleased you were comfortable during your stay and that you found everything to your satisfaction. You are welcome back any-time! Many thanks again, Emma Property Owner

Mr Rofe “This was our second stay at Trem Y Mor.”
A lovely, clean and well-equipped cottage. The sea views from the main bedroom are stunning and it's so convenient for the beach, shops and restaurants. A little gem! The welcome pack on arrival is also much appreciated.
- Mr Rofe, Aug 2022Peter “We loved this property - very clean and well presented in an excellent location - on the high street and a 2 minute walk to the quiet beach.”
- Peter, July 2022Thank you for your lovely feedback. We love the cottage and we're pleased that you did too! We'd be delighted to welcome you back at some point in the future. Many thanks again, Emma. Property Owner
James “We have just returned from a week's stay in Criccieth and were lucky enough to have this house as our accommodation!”
The house is in a wonderful location, right on the high street in Criccieth. Shops, restaraunts, pubs, takeaways, butchers and cafe's were in really close proximity and it was just a short walk to the beach. Despite being on the high street, it was really peaceful and you couldn't hear much noise at all from the traffic or passers by. The house itself is really well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outside area was lovely, with lots of little birds flying around. We loved the view out of the main bedroom window and the PlayStation was a major plus too! The furniture is all high quality and the rooms have been decorated really tastefully. It felt like a home away from home! If we're being really picky, there are just a couple of small points to make - The house wasn't as clean as we would have liked, there were a couple of stains on carpets, cobwebs / dust in some rooms and there was a lipstick under the main bed (so doesn't look like it was cleaned under there). Some of the rooms could also maybe do with a bit of TLC, particularly painting walls / door frames. Lastly, it would have been useful to have a wastepaper bin in the bedroom with the dressing table and to have been provided with a shower / bath mat, as we had to guess what we could use out of the spare towels. Overall, we had a lovely stay in this amazing house and we would definitely return if we are in the area again. Thank you!
- James, June 2022Thank you for your feedback. I'm thrilled that you loved the accommodation and all the local amenities. We aim for you to feel comfortable and I'm pleased it was like a home from home. The coastline is stunning and it's great that you were able to appreciate the view. I'm sorry that housekeeping could have done a better job in preparing the cottage for your stay and I will be sure to feed your comments back to ensure we always maintain the high standards we expect, including vacuuming under the bed. Repainting will also be undertaken at the end of the holiday season. We'd love to welcome you back to Trem Y Mor again in the future and are delighted that you enjoyed your stay ! Many thanks, Emma Property Owner
Maggie “We have really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.”
Everything is exactly like you saw on the website which is rare now days. (Only missing the outdoor sitting table and chairs). Heating was ok when we arrived. Cottage is very comfortable, clean and we have everything we need for. Keep up the good work, we will be back!
- Maggie, April 2022Thank you for your lovely feedback. I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay and will be pleased to welcome you back. We usually bring the outdoor table and chairs out for the warmer months, but I appreciate that we have had some unseasonably sunny evenings recently and will invest in some sturdy 'all weather' furniture that can be left out in all seasons. Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback! Property Owner
Anne & Ernie “What a cosy cottage!”
We enjoyed a long weekend in December. We were as warm as toast and the gas stove flickering in the fireplace was very cosy and welcoming. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you might need. Lovely to have the local shops so handy too! Would definitely recommend!
- Anne & Ernie, Jan 2022Janet “The house was ideal for our months stay, very comfortable and easy to maintain.”
We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy some lovely autumn sunshine on the back patio. Our only comment would to maybe add some anti slip paint on the stairs as both my self and my husband slipped a couple of times on the polished wood . Other than that it was all just great .Thank you to the owners
- Janet, September 2021Trevor “Very handy for restaurants, pub, bakers, paper shop, butchers etc, all within 50 yards.”
Although right by the main road, really quiet, and couldn’t hear the traffic. Nice view from the main bedroom.
- Trevor, September 2021Peter “The cottage was well appointed clean and well maintained .”
Views of the sea to the rear, shops, restaurants and pub literally on the doorstep, and, just a few minutes walk to the beach. Although no parking available at the property parking in nearby street was easy.
- Peter, September 2021Mr Rofe “Trem-Y-Mor is a great little cottage and we really enjoyed our break.”
It was clean and tidy and when we arrived it is in a great location! We would definitely recommend a stay.
- Mr Rofe, Aug 2021Suzanne “The property is in a great central location in Criccieth with the beautiful blue flag beach, shops and castle in walking distance.”
The property had everything we needed and has been tastefully refurbished. Comfortable beds a big plus as this isn’t always the case ! We made use of the eating area outside in the nice weather too . Ideally place for visiting Coastal villages and nearby attractions Zip world Portmerrion.
- Suzanne, July 2021Andrew “A nice property, comfortably furnished and presented, although the third bedroom (with the bunk beds) is a little claustrophobic, with only a skylight.”
A little more crockery would also be useful. Criccieth is a nice location, well placed for both the Llyn Peninsular and Snowdonia, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
- Andrew, July 2021Alison “The house was really clean, comfortable , well equipped and in a great location for exploring the area.”
We had a great holiday and would definitely recommend a stay a stay in this house.

What a lovely holiday house clean, comfortable really nicely decorated with everything you could possibly need and a great location to see the Llyn peninsular . It's well situated ,equipped and just around the corner from the beach, the castle and from Dylan's. The host has thought of everything, and more things had been added since we were last there . The welcome book is packed full of useful information. It all made for a relaxing holiday home!
- The Runciman Family, May 2021The Runciman Family “We stayed at Trem Y Mor at the end of August and had a wonderful week.”
The house is very comfortable and cosy .It is a newly refurbished terraced house with a great location on the high street (It’s close to lovely Cafe 46 ,an excellent bakery and only a short walk to Dylan’s and Castle Fish and Chips .) and super views from the back of the house to the sea .We found the house was well equipped it had everything we needed from a great coffee machine to the play station and fire stick .Thank you so much - we will be back!

- The Wingetts, Aug 2020Lisa Lisa and Brendan Roberts “Trem Y Mor is the perfect place to stay for a family holiday with something for everyone.”
It is close to the beach with lovely views from the main bedroom. There are some lovely walks along Criccieth coastal path with amazing scenery. Porthmadog is only a short drive away with shops and the famous railway. We also enjoyed a day trip to Portmeirion.
