The property

Resting in the thriving seaside town of Criccieth, Gwynedd is Ty Jem, a fantastic four-storey, town house boasting sea views from an elevated position.

With a balcony from which to admire the views of the sea and historic town, along with a games room to keep your younger travellers entertained, this fabulous abode is ideal for a family holiday any time of year.

On arrival at the property, off-road parking welcomes you before stepping into the spacious entrance hall to kick off your coats and shoes.

From here, the games room is located on the ground floor, along with a handy cloakroom and a utility, perfect for freshening up your clothes after a sandy day at the beach.

Moving through the property, climb the stairs to the first floor which hosts a stylish yet homely open-plan living space.

Take advantage of the kitchen, home to an electric hob and double oven any chef of the group will be delighted to use.

Sit down for dinner at the dining table to catch up on the day's activities before cleaning up with the handy integrated dishwasher.

Once you are satisfied from a delicious home-cooked meal, relax and unwind on the splendid tan leather sofas and snuggle up to watch a film on the Smart TV.

When sleep calls, make your way up to the second floor to discover two of three well-appointed bedrooms; both bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished with zip and link beds for flexible sleeping quarters for your group, giving guests the option of a king-size or a twin.

Servicing the second-floor bedrooms is a family bathroom home to a bath with a shower over; here, you can rinse off the day with a quick shower, or choose to indulge in a bubble bath while soaking your muscles.

Completing the property is the third floor, which houses the master bedroom with a Super king-size bed, a desk should you need to catch up on work, and an en-suite shower room, while the skylight lets in an abundance of light and boasts more glorious views of the town.

Guests will benefit from the balcony accessed from open-plan living space and allowing space for enjoying your morning coffee with unbeatable views.

Back on the ground floor, the courtyard outside is furnished with dining seating and a barbecue so you can cook and eat your meals al fresco in the warmer months.

Give the family chef a break from cooking and head out to a local eatery for dinner; Swn Y Mor is a family restaurant offering breakfast, pizzas, lunches and children's meals or perhaps spend an afternoon in the beer garden at the Bryn Hir Arms which has a great local atmosphere.

Immerse yourself in the culture of the area and visit Castell Criccieth which is just a short walk away to enjoy the magnificent viewpoints over the Irish and Anglesey coastlines.

Explorers will love a day on Criccieth beach, which is a short walk away from Ty Jem and discovering the Black Rock Sands Caves which rest just a scenic drive away and is encompassed by the beautiful and sweeping golden sandy beach.

Avid walkers and cyclists can head out to the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park for an exciting day of hiking and mountain biking, as well as there being an abundance of opportunities for watersports and rock climbing.

If you are looking for a challenge, be sure to stick your walking boots on and make your way up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales and England's largest mountain.

Heading in the opposite direction by car, the iconic and picture-perfect village of Portmerion is within easy reach and boasts a truly unique aesthetic for a charming Welsh village.

Perfect any time of year, bring your friends and family to Ty Jem for a relaxing break on the Welsh coast.
