    “Despite being situated in a lovely Welsh valley, surrounded by sheep and waterfalls.”

    Overall we were left feeling very disappointed by this holiday home. The advert states that there is off road parking for 2 cars. Yes there is parking at the rear of the property, but it is a very tight parking space and definitely not big enough for 2 cars (unless perhaps you have 2 Smart cars) The double bed is a very small double and not very comfortable for two. The bathroom had black mould around the shower and no toilet roll was left for us (thankfully we brought our own as there ...

The bathroom had black mould around the shower and no toilet roll was left for us (thankfully we brought our own as there is no shop within walking distance). The towels were very thin and I actually thought the hand towel was a tea towel. The house appeared to be very 'tired' and in need of some maintainance, perhaps replacing the tatty patio furniture, mowing the front lawn and giving the house a coat of paint (which was flaking off the walls) would improve it. Tbf the kitchen was very spacious and well equipped. The wi-fi was excellent and as mentioned above the location was beautiful. Overall, this house was basic at best but I guess it was okay as a base to explore the amazing Welsh countryside.
