Its first-floor living space makes the most of the stunning views over the estuary towards the mountains, and the open plan layout makes this a very sociable house to holiday in.

From the sitting room, a large sliding door opens onto a small balcony overlooking the estuary.

Peaceful and relaxing, it has seats for you to enjoy a glass of wine while you soak up the view at the end of a busy day exploring.

A stylish, contemporary bathroom and the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen add a sense of luxury and elegance. Aber Wharf has its own parking, so you can leave your car and explore the area by foot if you wish.

Porthmadog has everything you will need - a large supermarket for your weekly groceries, a good selection of quirky shops, restaurants and cafes, and Kerfoots department store where you'll find things you didn't know you needed, but you just have to have!

Home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways, take a ride on the Ffestiniog steam railway or hop aboard a Sherpa bus to the foot of Snowdon or explore the delights of both Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula easily.

This is a lovely house in a gated community in the heart of Porthmadog.

About the location

PORTHMADOG

Harlech 5 miles; Caernarfon 19 miles.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn . The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands. The area also boasts castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and superb unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. Also within reach is the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below where you can get involved with a variety of activities including the thrilling zip wires and underground caverns to explore; there is something here to suit the whole family. An ideal location for the attractions of Snowdonia and the The Lleyn Peninsula.
