  • “Stunning house in secluded location.”

Could not fault it. All mod cons, and then some more! Wood fired hot tub proved popular.

The property

Ty'n y Cae is a gorgeous Edwardian country house set in its own grounds, overlooking the River Conwy and peaceful village of Llanbedr y Cennin (St Peter's among the Daffodils!).

The village was home to many well-known artists during the late 19th Century who built many of the large stone houses of the area as Betws y Coed was becoming too popular and crowded! "A fabulous Edwardian House set in large grounds, perfect for family, friends and special celebrations." The holiday house overlooks the River Conwy and has stunning rural views and a very tranquil and welcoming feel.

A house for friends to gather to celebrate a special occasion, or for families to get together to share a holiday, assured that different generations will have space to mix or be private as the mood takes them. A comfortable sitting room with sofas and chairs are set around a big wood burning stove. There is a TV with plenty of books and French doors lead out to the patio area.

The completely refurbished kitchen is fabulous with electric range oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. The utility room houses the washing machine and dryer. There is a large dining table in the kitchen that can seat 10 people. The first floor has three bedrooms - A double with king size bed and wash hand basin.

Another double with king size bed and a final double with king size bed and ensuite bathroom.

On the second floor is a double bed with option of two chair beds that can be made as singles by request and a twin room next door.

There is a ground floor shower room with shower, wash hand basin and loo.

A family bathroom on the first floor with large bath, hand held shower and separate shower, wash hand basin and loo.

The ensuite has bath, corner shower, wash hand basin and loo.

The second floor has shower, loo and wash hand basin. A study on the ground floor comprises of wood burning effect stove and a desk with fantastic views. Ideal for exploring the Conwy Valley, Conwy and Snowdonia or as a base for outdoor groups wishing easy access to the mountains. The house is less than a mile from a pub, a butchers, a village shop and Post Office, and less than 2 miles from Surf Snowdonia.
