“Super cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay.”

Beautiful, quality decor and fittings which make it feel like pure luxury. Very comfortable beds/living room and wood floors throughout which is great for cleaning up after dogs. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the area is very quiet. Walk to a lovely beach takes about 15-20 mins and there are two cafes on the seafront (one which serves vegan/gluten free options) with a free carpark. Next to the beach is a children’s play area and paddling pool/recreation area. Co-op, two pubs and post ...

The property

Gorse Brook, a charming three-bedroom cottage, is located in the quaint town of Llanfairfechan in Conwy.

It can accommodate six people as well as two well-behaved dogs and is ideal for couples, families, and friends wishing to explore the county with proximity to the beach, a variety of amenities, and the North Wales Coastal Path.

Utilise all expected appliances in the kitchen/diner or head outside to eat alfresco while your four-legged friends settle down.

Once inside, relax into your break in the roomy, light-filled sitting area with plush leather sofas and a woodburning stove.

Reset in one of the three guestrooms, comprising a king-size, double, and a twin, located upstairs; each is tastefully decorated and has access to a contemporary bathroom with marble effect tiling.

Once you've had a chance to recuperate, explore Llanfairfechan's many restaurants, shops, parks, and sandy beaches; Split Willow is a traditional Welsh eatery, while Riverside Cafe gives views of the surrounding river.

Morfa Aber Nature Reserve, a great place for birdwatching and dog walks, and Carnedd y Saeson, a historical site encircled by high hills, are also located close to Gorse Brook.

For those who appreciate challenging hikes, Aber Falls and Carnedd Llewelyn are recommended walking paths.

If you'd rather stay along the coast, you can also take tours of Conwy Castle, The Smallest House in Great Britain, and Conwy Quay.

Stopping off in Llandudno is recommended while travelling, where you may wander down the promenade, unwind at Llandudno West Shore Beach, or even take a guided tour of the Great Orme Mines, the largest prehistoric mine in the world.

Enjoy Conwy’s countryside and coast at Gorse Brook.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
