“Overall the property was well equipped, we all enjoyed our stay.”

Yes, there was a camera on this device Also, there’s a camera on the outside of the property. I understand the means of having a surveillance camera for security of the property but we felt like this was watching us. The camera was pointing in to the conservatory 70% of the time where we was playing games, and watching tv. We also had an issue with locking the door inside the property. We pulled up the handle and tried to lock the door. Same as any other pvc door. Unfortunately after a few days of locking the door on the inside we broke the key, due to door lock was very stiff. We obviously got a new key for the door, receipt was left in key box. It was about 10 mins drive down to normal roads, the rest is off road/private road very narrow. My tow bar was catching a lot, maybe due to weight in vehicle. 2 gates on property to open and close. Looks like there was meant to be a light in the back garden but had been cut. Unfortunately we couldn’t see if the dogs was safe or got out the gate. The gate did open with the wind on a few occasions. Also no information what to do with the bins. One bin for a family of seven wasn’t the best. Would probably stay again if issue was resolved. Especially the camera issue.

With regards to the Alexa device, the device is there for whomever wants to listen to some music whilst cooking in the kitchen. There is no live feed / camera recording on it and it can easily be switched off should guests not want to use it. The CCTV camera outside covers the parking area outside the conservatory and the drive leading to the property, it does not cover inside the property. Our property is in a very remote location and the camera has been installed for security reasons. There is signage there clearly making you aware that there is CCTV in operation. Should you have contacted us with your concerns at the time we would have happily advised you to switch the camera off whilst you were in the property. With regards to the access to the property, it can be seen in the advert from Menai that this property is located in a rural area and as such there is nothing we can do about the access road. The green bin would have been adequate had you of made use of the four recycling bins provided. The light at the rear again could have easily been resolved had you have made contact with us. We will look into this now that we are aware. Thanks for your feedback Property Owner
