We loved staying here.

It’s built and equipped to a really high quality. Great views and well located for pub (with fantastic garden including hobbit house!), cafe, restaurant and beach within easy walking distance along the lanes or across public footpaths. The area is great for walking the coast or cycling the lanes (the Copper Trail runs close by). Thoroughly recommended!

We could not fault this property - it was everything we wanted and more.

The position was lovely and the owners were very welcoming with an array of ‘gifts’ on arrival. It was spotlessly clean and wasn’t lacking in anything you would need for a lovely holiday. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Tyddyn Bach is a wonderful, beautifully built holiday home in the west of Anglesey.

The owners Myfanwy and Tony were very helpful and have designed and funished the property to the highest standard. It is a lovely hideaway and base for some beautiful country and coastal walks.

What a lovely week we have just had in Angelsey (apart from the weather being ridiculously hot).

One thing that made it special was our holiday accommodation namely Tyddyn Bach at Rhydwyn, Holyhead. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable and oh so quiet, just beautiful. It was a pleasure to go back after a day out and sit out on a well furnished shady patio area, somewhere our dog loved because of the shade and a gentle breeze to keep him cool, I didn't mind it either. A big thank you to Tony and Myfanwy who both made us very welcome and thank you also for all the little treats. We may well be back.

.Myfanwy and Tony were very welcoming and very helpful with any queries we had, The property was wonderful, meticulously clean , the kitchen was fully equipped,.the bedroom was well furnished including hangers and plenty of storage space,…the area is superb, easy access to everywhere we wanted to see and do,…I will highly recommend this property.

Our second time here in nine months and absolutely perfect again.

The property is of a high standard, everything you need and in an amazing setting. Beach is within walking distance, 25 minutes approx, views all around and easy to get to anywhere on the island within an hour. Really ideal for a peaceful relaxed break.

Comfortable cottage in a very peaceful setting with everything you require.

Amazing property, everything was so well thought out and no expense spared.

All the appliances were top class and a pleasure to use.The owner even supplied dishwasher tablets and a lovely selection of gifts on arrival.The underfloor heating was a real bonus as it was a cold week in May when we visited.Highly recommend.

The location of the accommodation was perfect.

offering quietness, ease of access and perfect parking. The couple who run the cottage live within the smallholding and are extremely helpful and friendly. The building itself is beautiful in its simplicity as is every object within it, but there is nothing missing. The views are also varied and the private patio is delightful. I very much look forward to returning.

This was our second holiday at Tyddyn Bach and it is still just as lovely.

The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It is so quiet and peaceful there. Our holidays was topped off by a red squirrel running across the patio

This cottage probably ranks as the best we’ve ever stayed in- it was really well equipped and so many little extras that most owners wouldn’t dream of providing.

The house was beautifully warm and so quiet. Tony and Myfanwy were so friendly. The beach at Church Bay is a must and can be reached via the footpath down the side of the main house - at this time of year I’d definitely recommend wearing wellies. There are many walks from the doorstep. A truly great place to stay.

Fantastic cottage.

This is the best holiday cottage that we have stayed in,the finish inside is outstanding and is fully equipped.

The location is great and the views from Church Bay just a mile down the road are superb. Tony and Myfanwy are the perfect hosts and are on hand if you need anything.

Probably one of the best self catering properties I have stayed in.

An impressive 1-bed cottage - unlike some 1 beds we've stayed in, a decent, normal size, and with plenty of wardrobe space, often lacking.

All modern - new six months before our holiday - and kept clean and tidy by obviously-proud owners next door. We were greeted with a couple of bottles of wine and lots of other useful stuff. The field at the back had just been ploughed/harrowed when we were there and we could watch choughs feeding! The approach is by a short unmade drive, unsuitable for _very_ low-slung cars but our Audi TT was fine. Don't hit the concrete section too fast!

Absolutely perfect place to stay, beautiful views and lovely setting.

Cottage was designed and finished to a high standard, had all you needed and everything thought of. Easy to get to everywhere on the island, and although due to weather and wanted to see the whole island as hadn’t visited before, we were only able to visit Church Bay Beach on last day but we could have spent a lot of time there. Would definitely return, loved it.

After staying in dozens of Sykes Cottages, this has to go down as one of the best. Clean, comfortable, extremely well equipped, lovely views from the furnished patio area, and the extras provided by the owners were much appreciated.

Everything was perfect a great location and a pub nearby. Tony and Myfanwy were great host and nothing was too much trouble. Totally would recommend this property. We’ve already booked another stay

The cottage was really lovely.

Very well equipped to a high spec, it was comfortable and cosy. Fabulous views through the double patio doors and from the patio. Helpful but unobtrusive owners on site. Cottage is in a fairly remote area, the listing says the only nearby pub The Church Bay Inn cooks food, it doesn’t.

A wonderful retreat for two.

Everything is to the highest spec and thoughtfully catered for. A beautiful cottage really relaxing and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend it. If you want to eat out you will need to drive there and check for seasonal opening. There are not many local facilities but it is delightfully rural and walking distance from a glorious beach.

What a wonderful find!

Pictures do not do this cottage justice. The finish on everything is of such a high quality. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is wonderful. Very well stocked kitchen. Fabulous views. If you want peace and quiet I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Owners didn’t invade your privacy but were there if you needed anything Looking forward to returning next year

The cottage was very well appointed and intelligently planned to facilitate a very comfortable stay. We had everything we needed and happily stay there again

Tyddyn Bach is one of the best Cottages we have ever stayed in.

The cottage is finished to the highest spec. Myfanwy and Tony should be very proud as they have a wonderful cottage. The personal touches were a delight and a lovely surprise. Excellent property and we will definitely be going back, we will also be recommending the property to our friends and family.

Beautifully presented.

Everything was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. A lovely outdoor seating area. Large patio door in the lounge area brought in loads of light and the outside in. Peaceful and relaxing. We had a small issue and within minute or two the owner was with us ready to assist.

A most enjoyable, relaxing holiday in pleasant surroundings, run by a friendly couple!

What a lovely holiday cottage.

Really comfortable and well equipped. We loved sitting on the reclining sofa enjoying the view and the peace and quiet. Such a change to have sharp knives in the kitchen. Every thing is good quality and the conversion has been well thought out. Tony and Myfanwy were very helpful without being intrusive. We very much hope to return in the future
