“Medoc view is in a perfect location beautiful views and a short walk to the beach.”

( a little steep walking back up☺️) It was very very quiet, relaxing and the property had plenty of space with lots of amenities. Books, games, x box, terrace with sea views for evening drinks, wood burner for cozy evenings etc. The information packs had everything from eating places, walks, activities in the area and appliance instructions. I would certainly return, thank you.

Madoc View is a delightful, detached holiday property in Bwlchtocyn, near Abersoch.

This lovely setting for a family or group's seaside experience is set on one level and enjoys elevated sea views.

The whitewashed home has enough off-road space for automobiles and boats, which you may park before ascending the stairs to this wonderful home.

The living/dining room is a delightful area where you can unwind after a day at sea, warm up by the fire before relaxing on the sofas in front of the TV, which has a selection of Sky channels; enjoy wonderful views of the sea and distant Eryri (Snowdonia).

The kitchen/diner features attractive, coastal colours throughout, as well as a variety of wonderful amenities for rustling up tasty meals, alongside handy washing facilities.

Enjoy a meal at the kitchen's own dining table for two, or with the rest of the company at the living/dining room's elegant dining space; dine alfresco on the side terrace, which has outdoor seating and is encircled by glass-paneled fencing so you can take in the view.

In the evening, choose from one of four bedrooms: an impressive king-size, access to the terrace, and an en-suite shower room; further along, a pretty double with a built-in wardrobe; a stylish twin room with a vanity so you can get ready for the day in style; and finally, a children's twin room with futon beds and its own TV and Xbox with several games.

You can quickly get ready for an adventurous day out on the Llŷn Peninsula in the family bathroom, which has both a walk-in shower and a bath.

The home is completed by a back garden with a large lawn where your children and two pet companions may run around and play while you relax on the patio with a nice beverage in hand.

Madoc View is a short walk from Machroes Beach, which offers plenty of opportunities for fun-filled days in the sun; the beach is bordered by Mickey's Boatyard's superb tearooms, as well as the Abersoch Golf Club and Yacht Club.

Travel to Abersoch to spend the day surfing and sailing down the coast from Abersoch Main or Abersoch Harbour Beach, before perusing the many independent shops that line the high street and stopping for a bite to eat at The Cove, a seafront restaurant.

Hike through the Hillfort and along the Llŷn Coastal Path, stop for a drink or dinner at the popular Sun Inn tavern, sunbathe on Hells Mouth Beach, or continue along the coast to visit the lovely, medieval manor of Plas yn Rhiw.

Llanbedrog, Aberdaron, and Pwllheli are all close by and make for great day trips, with beaches, nature-rich activities, and breathtaking views out to sea; be sure to travel to the western side of the peninsula to see even more picturesque towns and villages.

Madoc View guarantees a wonderful seaside escape with your loved ones.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.

Note: The carport is not for use for parking a car.
Note: There are several steps up to the level of the bungalow at the front although a sloped path leads to the rear to avoid the steps.
Note: New for 2023 Bed linen and Towels will be provided
Note: There is a £200 Good Housekeeping Bond
Note: One room is furnished with 2 single futons and is not a full time bedroom. Linen & towels are not provided for this room.
