“Lovely property, had another great stay.”

Would benefit from a Flash Speed Mop to help keep the hardwood floors clean during stays. Also needs a better bottle opener!

Sn Y Wylan is a fantastic base for a family or big party of eight's seaside trip, with three off-road parking places and convenient access to Machroes Beach.

Climb the stairs to the charming living/dining room, which boasts plenty of seating for the whole family around the multi-fuel stove, as well as a TV with Freeview and a choice of books available; the circular dining table is ideal for the group to relax and play board games or enjoy dinner while recounting the day's adventures.

Nearby is the well-appointed kitchen/diner, which has all of the necessary facilities to prepare delectable dinners for everybody to enjoy in the living/dining area or at the folding table.

Why not connect your gaming console to the sunroom's TV after dinner and play some video games with your group?

The area also has a balcony where you may dine al fresco or simply drink a bottle of wine while watching the sun set over the sweeping hills.

Before retreating to bed, freshen up in the first-floor shower room, or head downstairs to the luxurious bathroom, where you may relax in the tub and enjoy some peace and quiet.

After spending the afternoon at Machroes Beach and the neighbouring tearooms, continue along the beach to Abersoch Main Beach, where you'll find plenty of options for surfing and sailing, as well as the Abersoch Golf Club and Yacht Club.

Further into Abersoch's centre, you can dine in one of the many pubs and cafés before boarding the Jenny II fishing tour boat at the nearby Abersoch Harbour Beach.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
