What a delightful holiday cottage Ty Coch is!
Located in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, this pretty stone cottage certainly has kerb appeal.
Standing alone in an acre of gardens which are beautifully landscaped, the stream tinkles down alongside the house from the National Trust oak woodland past the cottage.
Sitting in an area of designated special scientific interest, you can access the woodland from the grounds and the fields in front - perfect for relaxing days when you want to leave the car on the drive.
Once belonging to the head gardener for Plas Tan Y Bwlch, you can expect to see a variety of beautiful flowers around Ty Coch - including impressive azaleas and rhododendrons!
"What a pretty cottage!
Plenty of parking, quiet location, close to a good pub, beautiful gardens....what more could you need?"
Wander from the cottage to the Oakley Arms for a lovely lunch or evening meal, or head out to explore some of the beautiful walks on offer in and around Maentwrog.
There are so many attractions & things to do with a short drive including The Italianate Village of Portmeirion, steam trains galore or shopping on the High Street in Porthmadog.
Just a short drive from Ty Coch is Harlech with its vast expanse of golden beaches and imposing castle.
A little further again to the picturesque village of Llanbedr, (you must visit the Victoria Pub), & Shell Island.
For a different day out, you might even fancy heading over to Barmouth for the day where you might catch the donkeys on the beach or take a spin on the waltzers.
