“Cute little cottage.”

Friendly and obliging hosts. Easy access to the nearby town of Mold, and all major supermarkets and stores. Our little Staffy was most welcome & had plenty of grassy space (on her lead) to walk around and enjoy the country smells. Pretty surrounding countryside. Ideal location for travelling around North Wales, Chester, Liverpool & Manchester. Highly recommended.

very friendly owners. Pub food was excellent especially Sunday lunch. Easy access to major touristy places. Local town of Mold had all facilities needed regards shopping. Only thing really missing from cottage was access to laundry facilities. Great stay, dogs loved it.

“Ideal accommodation whilst we waited to move into our new home.”

The best part was the food in its traditional pub. The homemade steak pie is one of the tastiest I've tried anywhere and the menu prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Richard and his daughter Karen who run the Butchers Arms are very sociable, friendly and accommodating without intruding. The locals we met were all friendly. I cannot recommend the Butchers Arms highly enough both for accommodation and even more so for its food.

“We had a very pleasant week at the Butchers Arms.”

The cottage was nice and cosy, and well equipped with everything you would need if you wanted to self cater. It is in a great location for visiting the area, but is also rural and very peaceful, with no noise issues from being attached to the pub. Given 4/5 for cleanliness as overall very good, but there were a couple of things that could of been better, although we manage holiday accommodation so have very high standards!

Front door opens on to a busy country lane. Nowhere to relax outside the property except the car park used by the next door pub. Kitchen was nt really clean . Cooker microwave and cutlery etc. Would nt go again sorry.

The hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful and the food they served in the Butchers arms was some of the best we have had. The cottage is ideally placed to visit all the tourist spots and even Snowdon is only 1 hour or so away and on good roads.

Very friendly people. Karen is an excellent cook and they have a well stocked bar. Hand sanitizers everywhere. Karen is always cleaning and making sure everyone is safe. We will definitely be returning here as we love north wales and staying here is central to get anywhere you may like to go.
