The property

Ynys Mor, a magnificent, detached home, resting close to Abersoch's shoreline.

Ynys Mor, with its three storeys and panoramic views of the countryside, sea, and St Tudwals Islands, is the ideal home-away-from-home for a large group or family of 12.

You can park your car in one of the property's many parking spaces before heading up the steps to the stylish abode.

Stepping inside, you'll be greeted by a beautiful open-plan living space with everything you need within easy reach and surrounding windows that flood the space with natural light, making you feel at ease.

The two leather recliners are an ideal spot to kick back with a good book, or you can locate an adjoining sitting room with a warm fire where you can snuggle up after a day of touring, turning on the television for some extra entertainment.

When you're hungry, head to the kitchen, where you'll find an impressive food preparation space with oak and shaker-style cabinets, marble worktops, high-quality appliances, including a traditional range cooker, and a spacious breakfast bar lit by a stylish light fixture, making for a delightful socialising and dining spot.

Grab a bottle from the wine rack and savour a feast at the nearby dining table once the group's emerging chef has rustled up a fantastic supper, while toasting to this magnificent coastal getaway.

After dinner, take a trip upstairs to the balcony, where you may unwind on one of the many seating options as the sun sets over Abersoch.

Throw any dirty or sandy clothing into the utility room's washing machine as the evening draws to a close before exploring the two well-appointed bedrooms on this floor.

Continue upstairs to find four more thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, including two twin rooms, one with access to a Juliet balcony and a sleek, en-suite bathroom, and the other with bean bags, a toy box, and a selection of books, as well as an en-suite shower room, that are ideal for the younger members of the group.

A huge bedroom with hardwood furnishings and an en-suite shower room, as well as a king-size room with grey accents and a large window bringing in those wonderful views of the Abersoch coast, can be found further along.

The house has access to a spacious back garden, where the kids can run around and play on the grass while you relax on the shaded patio or prepare a great meal on the BBQ.

Ynys Mor is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from planty of Abersoch's amenities, including Abersoch Main Beach and Abersoch Harbour Beach, where you can rent surfboards and paddle boats to explore the seas with, as well as the award-winning Abersoch Golf Club.

The property has easy access to a range of trails throughout the Peninsula, including the Llyn Coastal Path, passing through an array of villages, from Llanbedrog to Pwllheli, as well as the nature-rich trail snaking through the Mynydd Mawr promontory.

Travel to Porth Meudwy to board a boat to Bardsey Island, where you'll find an exquisite hideaway with plenty of bird-watching options; nearby, you can also book a fishing trip with Jenny II, which includes cruising around the St Tudwals Islands and chartering the waters.

With the attractions of Criccieth, Porthmadog, and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park a little farther out, there is so much to see and do in this beautiful region of Wales.

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
