Discover this pretty end-of-terrace cottage in a peaceful part of the seaside town of Nefyn, perfectly positioned for enjoying both the coast and countryside of the LlÅ·n Peninsula.

Bwthyn Defaid has been wonderfully transformed into an excellent holiday home, that you and your loved ones can use as a base for touring this part of Wales, with its pristine beaches, exciting walks and historical landmarks.

After an action-packed afternoon, head into the property and discover the contemporary kitchen, which boasts everything you will need to whip up your family favourite dishes.

Enjoy your meals within the separate dining room before winding down for the evening within the sitting room, where a woodburning stove is much-welcomed during the colder winter months.

Once the evening has drawn to a close, climb the staircase and take your pick from three bedrooms, comprising of a spacious king-size double bedroom and two charming single bedrooms, each boasting a refreshing colour palette and plenty of storage space for your holiday belongings.

Each morning, look forward to soaking up the summer sunshine by taking your breakfast out onto the garden, whilst your canine companions stretches his legs on the lawn and you soak up the views of the Garn Boduan, with its Iron Age hillfort.

Come back to the garden during a balmy evening to enjoy the barbecue and catch the final glimpses of sunshine before retiring to bed.

If you can bring yourself to leave this charming abode, head into town where you will be spoilt for choice by the good selection of places to eat and drink, as well as a range of shops for picking up any essentials.

Those with young children will be delighted by the close proximity to the town’s beach, as well as the interesting Llŷn Maritime Museum so that you can delve into the town’s past.

Alternatively, choose to climb the Garn Boduan to discover the Iron Age hillfort or if you are feeling brave, try a round of golf at Nefyn’s famous headland golf course, which is not for the faint hearted.

Other places to visit nearby include the ever-popular Pwllheli seaside resort and the wonderful Abersoch, or travel further afield to the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park for some excellent walking opportunities.

The pretty coastal town of Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. The town offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and is within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.
