“I was at the property for 10 mins & left as I would not stay there.”
It was far from my expectations for a Four Star rating, The property was dowdy & depressing, felt damp with a musky smell. No complimentary toiletries such as soap, shower gel, shampoo, etc, no tea or Coffee which is usually normal in four star premises. The TV was difficult to work, parking & access to property was tight & wasn't aware property was on the Main Road. Electric was run on a coin meter which I have NEVER come across travelling before. There was a small overlooked garden but you were basically sharing the owners garden who also had a Dog. Awful experience would never go back there in a hundred years & lost £315.00 to boot.
I am very disappointed with your review,especially as I have run the holidaylet for 18 years and have never had a review this harsh or as ill-informed.Indeed we have many returning guests year on year.
I would like to address some of your points.I provide free view not full sky.I also provide £50 credit for the meter so that's not an issue.Our dog is well trained and gentle,she is never out of our control. We don't provide toiletries ect as its self catering not a hotel.
I always ask guests to inform me of any issues but the only problem you mentioned was the inability to watch the football.As a suggestion before booking your short break Elsewhere please read the description. I wish you all the best.

The fascinating old slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is situated in a superb position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. There is a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. The main local attractions include Zip World Slate caverns, the longest zip line in Europe and fastest in the world, this is a great underground adventure. The slate mines now hold the prestigious status of a world heritage site, awarded by UNESCO and visitors can take enthralling underground trips there to see mining as it was done in days gone by. The famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Nearby is Portmeirion village, famous for its architecture and the film set of the cult TV series The Prisoner, plus local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
