We really enjoyed our stay, the property was in a beautiful location, and was very comfortable with a homely feel.
The host was helpful and friendly. Recommend highly and we will go back there.
The lady that owed the farm was lovely.
A beautiful location. Also the apartment Was very comfortable
We loved the cottage, it was ideal for us.
It fabulous to find somewhere that would accept 5 dogs and had an enclosed garden for them to be safe within. The cottage was well equipped, warm and even had wifi. The owner was lovely, very friendly & chatty and gave advice about local walks, places to visit, parking costs and even supplied us with some fresh eggs from her chickens. The view from the cottage was fantastic. It is only a 10 min drive from the A55 at Holyhead and also from Treardurr Bay. We will definitely go again.
Spectacular views, friendly host and cosy.
We loved our stay at Y Barcud, beautiful location and a lovely cottage that had everything you need.
Very dog friendly, with lots of dog friendly beaches nearby. The cottage was very comfy and Mrs Campbell was very welcoming and friendly. A lovely welcome with tea tray, biscuits and wine and a gift of fresh eggs during the week was really nice. The farm had lots of animals, we especially loved talking to the donkeys, who were very entertaining. I would definitely recommend Bodwarren Farm cottages and we're looking forward to returning in the future.
This is our third time at this cottage It’s really comfy and ideal for when you have a dog It’s close to beaches for walks Thanks
Great views and very friendly owner
One of the best places I have stayed in Anglesey property was great stunning views highly recommend lovely host
Another amazing holiday in this beautiful cottage.
It was so nice to see gwen again , she's such a lovely lady. Nice welcome tray with tea coffee sugar biscuits and milk in the fridge . Farm is amazing and so are the animals , we were happy to see the donkeys again and they have had beautiful babies . And the kittens my son helpd domesticate last year were gorgeous and definitely remembered him . We are already booked again for next year, we can't wait xxx Thanks again gwen for a beautiful stay .
We had a great holiday.
The host was very welcoming and helpful. The views at the farm were amazing, we loved seeing the donkeys every day and relaxing in the garden with the beautiful views. Welcome pack was lovely, especially the wine.
This is the third time we've stayed at this cottage over New Year.
It really is my happy place and I can't wait to come back.
Beautiful cottage and location with spectacular rural and sea views.
We loved the location and seeing the donkeys every day. The owner was so helpful and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back!
Great place, stunning scenery,
We have stayed twice now and in 2 of the 3 cottages on the farm.
Gweneth is lovely and will go out of her way to help you. She delivered fresh eggs to our door for breakfast and made sure we were comfortable and warm in the cottage. Our for 4 dogs loved it! We were worried as one of them can be quite vocal but it was no problem at all and they were made to feel welcome too. We were even offered 2 empty enclosed fields to run the girls in which was great! The farm is down a long track and the views are spectacular! There are also 4 gorgeous donkeys on the farm It’s safe to say we will be back for a 3rd time very soon. Thanks for looking after us
Another lovely week here.
So peaceful and has beautiful views. It’s really like home from home. Love seeing the cows and donkeys, always happy to greet you. There is always someone around the farm to help if needed, or they pop buy in passing to check if you need anything. Lovely welcome tray very much appreciated. Will definitely be back soon as had a wonderful time as usual.
Have stayed here twice, the view out to the front are beautiful and not very far from the coast
A very comfortable cottage with great views towards Southstack and Holy Mountain.
Beaches within a short drive making it ideal for dog owners.
Lovely little cottage with AMAZING views.
Our daughter loved that it was on a working farm and was allowed to feed the donkeys with the owner which was a highlight for her. Beautiful scenery all around and right next to the coastal path which is great if you love walking. The owner was fab and gave us extra towels for the dogs and was really friendly. Would recommend for anyone who likes simplicity and walking. Cottage is well equipped and the water is always hot for baths and hand washing. Close to two lovely beaches, South stacks, Holyhead mountain, the lighthouse... the list could go on
Another fantastic holiday in this beautiful place , it was so nice to see gwenyth again and she was just as fantastic with us all as the first time .
The lovely welcome basket we received with coffee tea sugar milk wine and biscuits was a nice touch. My son loves it there and didn't want to leave, I was the same, he has additional needs and she let him help out with the dogs cows chickens and donkeys which he loved .We have already booked again for next year. The cottage is spotless and full of everything you need and gwenyth is on hand if you need anything. The views are so breathtaking . Thanks for a great holiday from us and Christopher xx
Location and comfort of this property is ideal for viewing surrounding hillside and access to surrounding areas, our daughter and dog adored the place, lovely touch sweet peas on the table along with biscuits and wine on the table.
Absolutely beautiful and in a lovely spot.

We all had a lovely time.
the owner was very friendly and helpful would definitely stay here again.
We had a really lovely holiday at Y Barcud.
Mrs Campbell was really welcoming and the wine and biscuits were a lovely surprise. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We would certainly love to go back again and hope to in the future.
This was our second stay and like before we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
It’s a perfect location and a perfect place to stay. The sun was out most days and the views from the property are amazing. We will be back for another holiday here.
This is a beautiful, peaceful setting, ideal for walkers and dogs.
There’s so many fantastic beaches to visit. Local takeaways were very varied and tasty. Would love to come back and stay. Holiday thoroughly enjoyed by all including kids and dogs. Thank you for letting us feed the donkeys each day and letting the kids look around the farm.
The cottage was lovely, very clean and tidy.
The views were outstandingly beautiful. When we arrived the host wasn’t there, so for that day/night we didn’t have the Wi-Fi password. It wasn’t a big problem but just thought it would have been nice to have an information booklet giving the password to connect, along with other information. We got all the information we needed the following day when we met the host, who was lovely. We will definitely come back again. Thank you so much.
Lovely stay, despite the weather, Gwyneth very helpful.
Loved the donkeys.
Absolutely brilliant week.
The cottage was lovely (although a few spider webs but what do you expect from a cottage in the middle of a farm!) Excellent cottage with everything and more that you need. The donkeys were the highlight for our kids. They were lovely! Will definitely be back. Thank you x
We had a wonderful time on this beautiful working farm .
The setting was fantastic and as we had beautiful weather we were able to sit out in the garden in the evening .The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need .Beds are so comfy i have never slept so well .The cottage is not far away from shops and beaches , but far enough away to be so peaceful. Southstack is only round the corner and is a lovely day out .Our dog enjoyed her holiday too as most places are dog friendly. Mrs Campbell is such a lovely lady , she left us a very nice welcome pack of biscuits tea coffee milk and wine . She was amazing with our son who has adhd letting him help with different things around the farm it made his stay even better as he loves animals. We loved it that much were coming back next year .
Overlooking open countryside the cottage is clean and comfortable.
Well equipped. A working farm added to the holiday experience. The owner was very helpful and even had toys for the grand children to play with. We had a lovely stay. Will return
We had a lovely stay.
The cottage was perfect with a beautiful view. The owner was friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and made our stay on her lovely farm a pleasure. We will definitely return
Delightful short break, weather was kind too.
Y Barcud had everything you could need for a relaxing stay.very cosy, nice pet-safe grassed garden with superb far-reaching views. Well appointed and equiped inside. Sitting in the garden is silent and tranquil, the only sound comes from the birds really. Nice remote location set well away from the road. Yet a few minutes to drive away are the superb sandy beaches and walks of Holy Island. We would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this cottage to anyone considering a stay on Anglesey. Craig, Helen and their 2 Jack Russell Terrier.
Very comfortable cottage in ideal location.
The walled garden was perfect for our dogs. There was a slight problem with the water supply but the owner went above & beyond providing bottled water until it was fixed. Really couldn't have asked for more & would definitely stay there again.
The property is lovely, everything you need is there it's also only 10 minute drive for shops, restaurants, beaches, and the owner is brilliant so nice friendly and helpful.
I will definitely be booking again
We enjoyed a lovely week , cottage is very cosy and warm.
It’s has a sea view and well located to drive to beach , pubs and shops Thanks to Gwyneth
Lovely cottage, ideal for dog owning families.
Good facilities and beautiful area.
Very relaxing and comfortable cottage.
Great for our dogs, lots of beech’s and walks nearby.
We all had a wonderful holiday, highly recommend and definitely we will be back, only two things we came across one is being the water pressure very poor and the second was that the hot water was way too hot.
.
The shower and bath were not very good
Great cottage to stay in.
Clean with good facilities. Spacious for a family of 6 and 3 dogs. Good little garden area, which is walled so contained the dogs. Lovely views of the hills from the cottage and beautiful sunsets to see. Good for walking the dogs around the farm. Gwyneth, the owner of the farm and cottages is very welcoming and checked that everything was ok with the cottage. Would highly recommend.
The host was lovely and was so helpful, and the cottage was in a perfect place for a lovely peaceful holiday but plenty of amenities a short drive away.
Will definitely go back !
The cottage and surrounding area were beautiful.
The view was amazing. The owner was lovely, so helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
What a wonderful host!
Gwynedd did everything to make us feel welcome and have a lovely peaceful break. Beautiful scenery. Thank you so much.
What a lovely cottage.
Plenty of room well resourced and warm. The location is spectacular. Hope to visit again after lockdown. The enclosed garden wall was too low for our lurcher but we came armed with camping spike
Brilliant place to stay with beautiful views.
Would stay here again.
Superb barn conversion that comfortably accommodated 6 adults and 2 dogs.
Provided with tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and prosecco on arrival which was really thoughtful. Had a really enjoyable 5 night stay over New Year, would highly recommend

I’ve been visiting Bodwarren for years. It never fails to impress.
We had a really lovely holiday, the cottage was spotless and the owner left milk tea coffee biscuits and a bottle of wine in the cottage for us plus she brought fresh eggs from her chickens, would defiantly recommend this cottage.
We all had a brilliant time the cottage was beautiful the owner was lovely, helpful & kind we will be going back very highly recommend especially for people with dogs we took five!
Lovely amazing place , beautiful views ,cottage exactly what you see in the pictures , homely comfortable and perfectly quiet .
Would defiantly booking again
Beautiful cottage with spectacular view of Holyhead mountain.
Owner very welcoming, and although a working farm it wasn’t noisy. Excellent base for exploring Holyhead and the Isle of Anglesey.
Wouldn’t recommend dogs that jumps (med to large ) as the brick wall is only around 3ft.
lovely scenery which I would recommend and a nice getaway cottage.
We liked the position of the cottage, stunning views and ideal for our daily outings.
Our hostess was very helpful and it was pleasant chatting with her. We enjoyed the fresh eggs produced by their hens, what a bonus!. It is a working farm which we enjoyed being based at. We were also provided with wall to wall sunshine! But were prepared for any kind of weather. The cottage itself was very well presented and a joy to stay in.
This was our 6th visit to this wonderful cottage and we have already booked again for next year.
We just love everything about this place, from the beautiful views, the warm welcome, the lovely cottage and the great things to do near by. Such a wonderful place to relax, we fall in love with it more each year we stay!
The photos do not do this place justice!
The cottage was lovely and everyone on the farm was friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The cottage was absolutely wonderful, with everything you could need to enjoy your stay, and the view from the cottage was amazing, looking directly at Holyhead Mountain.
The owner is an amazing lady who went out of her way to ensure we had the best possible time, with a very useful "welcome" basket and fresh eggs from her own chickens !! We had 4 dogs and the owner was more than happy and helpful in accommodating their needs for a good run, with telling us which of the fields they could be let off the lead and run to their hearts content, all safely away from the livestock on the farm. The owner was always ready to quietly offer help and advice on where to go and where to eat ,when asked. I really should have given a bad report so that the cottage is available for us next time !!!!!, and there WILL be a next time.
Excellent Views, Friendly Owners and Great Location - perfect for a relaxing holiday
