“We had a great week at Y Bwythn, the house was lovely and perfect to celebrate a special birthday in.”

It was a good base to explore this part of wales. Garden was secure for the dogs and the kitchen had plenty of crockery supplies. Hope we can come back soon!

“A fantastic cottage in a tranquil setting, the facilities are excellent and it is very clean.”

Our daughter loved the attic room. The back garden was perfect for chilling out and having a BBQ. Would highly recommend it, although it should be noted that it is not within walking distance of any shops, pubs etc. We arranged an Asda delivery on the arrival date. Would definitely go back, loved it!

“Lovely house with good facilities in a beautiful area.”

We had a four generational holiday here to celebrate some special birthdays and so having a toddler with us were in most evenings to enjoy this property.The downstairs bedroom was excellent for my 90 year old dad. The house was perhaps more rural than anticipated so glad we did our Asda online shop which arrived promptly on Saturday night. Would be a cosy property in the winter. Represented good value for money

“Peaceful, idyllic location.”

Comfy beds and total quietness at night. Enclosed and not overlooked garden, fantastic, safe space for dogs. Lovely to sit out on a nice evening. Brilliant family kitchen/ diner with everything you could ask for! Cosy lounge with log burner, Netflix, comfy sofas. Had a brilliant time. Didn't want to go home! Definitely want to visit again, so much to see and do.

Very very clean, beds very comfortable would definitely recommend to others! Only issue we encountered was the WiFi wasn’t brilliant but phone signal isn’t to bad in the area so wasn’t a major issue

“The holiday cottage was very well equipped, warm, clean and comfortable.”

It easily accommodated five, plus the dog. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The accommodation is well located, quiet and close to a wide range of attractions. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

What a lovely holiday cottage Y Bwthyn is!

It has been many many years since Llangybi Station has seen a train and this tiny hamlet is now peaceful and quiet, yet only a short drive to Criccieth, Porthmadog and Pwllheli.

"What a peaceful, calming and pretty cottage Y Bwthyn is.

Set in a small Hamlet of just a few cottages, the location is quiet, however it is only a five minute drive back to the conveniences of the shops, bars and cafes in Criccieth." Llanystumdwy is a small village with lots to do.

Visit Lloyd George’s museum, Rabbit Farm, Bear Grylls survival academy and Dragon Raiders paintballing.

Pwllheli 6 miles; Porthmadog 11.4 miles

This quaint little village rests in the beautiful Eifonydd region, which covers the south-eastern part of the Llyn Peninsula from Porthmadog to the eastern fringes of Pwllheli. Positioned in the Welsh county of Gwynedd, there are opportunities to explore one of the most scenic regions of Wales, with plenty of attractions in driving distance. As well as its sweeping countryside, littered with stone circles and various menhirs, the village is noted for its holy well, Ffynnon Gybi, a lovely part of local myth and tradition. The bustling market town of Pwllheli offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with an impressive marina holding 400 boats. Sailing and watersports are on offer at its famous Blue Flag beach and you also have the Llyn Coastal Path winding its walk along an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A lot of the coastline is owned by the National Trust providing many remote bays and sandy beaches.
