Ysgo, a beautiful duplex residence on the outskirts of Llanengan near Abersoch, is situated in a peaceful setting.

Ysgo is a fantastic base for a beachside break for a family of six, settled near Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth) Beach and offering access to convenient on-site facilities.  Upon arrival, be greeted by a communal car park, where you can leave your vehicle for the rest of the holiday.

Venture inside the reverse-level apartment and venture upstairs to discover the open-plan living space, a great place to socialise with your guests.    The space features mid-century seats in front of a wall-mounted TV, where you may relax with your family while watching a movie; alternatively, there is window seating where you can unwind with a book.

The designated chef can make use of the well-equipped kitchen  kitchen, which has everything you need to conjure up excellent dishes for everyone to enjoy at the adjacent dining table.

The first floor also hosts a beautifully presented double with its own cloakroom to freshen up. Two more well-appointed bedrooms are located downstairs, one of which is a double and the other a twin room; the bedrooms on the ground floor share access to a family bathroom, which features white tiling for a crisp feel, as well as a bath with shower over, so you can relax your muscles in the bubbles after a day of surfing.

The apartment also has access to two outdoor spaces: a common seating area in front of the property where you can enjoy a morning coffee, and a communal lawn area behind the apartment where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the sea breeze.

Wander down to Porth neigwl (Hell's Mouth) Beach for an afternoon of sun, sand, and sailing, then return to the site to rinse off your wetsuits with the provided hose, wash any sandy clothes in the site's laundrette, and wander to the nearby village of Llanengan for a substantial lunch and a pint at The Sun Inn.

Travel to Abersoch to find all of your needs in one place, with a superb selection of restaurants and stores showing beachwear lining the main streets; the hamlet also has two stunning beaches and an acclaimed golf club to enjoy.

From the apartment, walk west along the Lln Coastal Path to see the 16th century manor of Plas yn Rhiw, as well as two quaint bays, Porth Ysgo and Porth Meudwy, and the coastal village of Aberdaron, where you can access a trail that leads to the Mynydd Mawr promontory.

Llanbedrog and Pwllheli are both close to Ysgo and make for fun family adventures; alternatively you can travel farther out by train, vehicle, or foot to find a plethora of picture-postcard communities strewn around the eastern portion of the Peninsula.

At Ysgo, you'll find a memorable beachfront escape.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
