“We stayed for a week at this property for my 60th birthday.”

The house was welcoming on arrival, very clean and had everything we needed including a tower fan in the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and laid out. The house was welcoming on arrival, very clean and had everything we needed including a tower fan in the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and laid out. The property was nicely decorated and furniture comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. There were plenty of spare pillows and duvets to change to get comfort just right. Communication with Tess was good, and a broken kettle was replaced immediately. Parking outside was difficult, but wasn’t an issue as we had been given a sign for the windscreen to park in the community centre down the road, so that was great. We visited the community centre for drinks when it was open, and were pleasantly surprised that the landlord remembered us from last year. Probably because my partner practiced his Welsh on him!! The lady at the post office introduced herself which was nice. All in all, a great holiday. We love it there as it’s so quiet, great for dogs. If there was one thing that would improve my stay, it would be having pull up/pull down blinds on the bedroom windows, so you could sit in bed with a coffee, blinds pulled up halfway from the bottom and admire the Mountain View without being in full view of the neighbours, and in the other room, get privacy from the neighbours opposite, across the road , whilst letting the daylight in. All in all a great place to stay, and would go there again. Helen Wood
