“Lovely setting close to the beach and the coast path.”

Cheryl was the perfect host. Very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit. The property itself is small but contains everything you need for the perfect stay.I have never seen a bird feeder that attracts woodpeckers and Jay's, both were constant visitors. All in all a great place for us to relax before returning to the everyday routine. Would recommend to couples wanting a peaceful haven far from the madding crowd

The property

Llanbedrog 1.6 miles.

This one-bedroom annex, Bwthyn Byg, is located in the heart of Penrhos, near the beach village of Llanbedrog in Gwynedd.

The annex accommodates two people and is conveniently located near beach trails, everyday utilities, and a variety of notable attractions in North Wales.

On entry to the open-plan living space, offering dual aspect views and traditional beamed ceilings, cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, make yourself at home in front of the TV, or plan your next activity to the Llyn Peninsula whilst dining from the breakfast bar.

Head out to the wrap-around garden as the sun rises for a picture-perfect view of the adjacent hills, farms, and woodlands, where you can relax, escape the village bustle, and listen to the chirps and tweets of local wildlife.

Reset and revitalise in the contemporary shower room before retiring to the homestyle double bedroom for a day of exploring.

Llanbedrog, a short distance from the annex, is where you’ll find a variety of dining options, small convenience stores, beautiful beaches, and isolated bays to explore; you'll have everything you need, close by, to enjoy your break.

Choose from a variety of hikes up Snowdon, Wales' tallest mountain, see Black Rock Sands Cave, or participate in a variety of activities in Glasfryn Parc, including archery and go karting.

If you want to relax and watch the world, go by, there are a variety of shorelines to explore at Morfa Bychan, a secluded cave to relax in at Traeth Porth Meudwy, or why not visit Portmeirion Village and unwind from one of its wonderful cafes?

Visit Criccieth Castle and appreciate its elevated position above the coast, go on a trek with Black Rock Llamas, or marvel at the grandeur of St Cybi's Well and its surrounding grounds.

With so much to see and do in Gwynedd, make Bwthyn Byg your romantic base.
