    “Very enjoyable week.”

Nice lodge, but could do with a few tweaks as some areas are starting to show wear and tear. Some outside furniture requires change, and the sitting room could do with a refresh, and the bed pillows were due a change , imo. Other than this, great place for people who enjoy quiet, peace, and comfort.

This delightful, detached lodge, The Warren D7, is perched on the coast in The Warren Holiday Park in Abersoch.

This beachside chalet, which is all on one level and has open-plan living, is ideal for a family of six.

Upon entering the house, you will be welcomed by two highly sought-after parking spaces before discovering the open-plan living space with huge windows and a vaulted ceiling.

After a day at the beach, turn on the electric fire and relax on the L-shape sofa while watching your favourite show on the Smart TV.

Stepping through the space, find the functional kitchen,  where you'll find a all the necessities for rustling up those home-cooked meals, which you can enjoy at the glass dining table.

As the day draws to a close, retire to one of three inviting bedrooms, the first of which is a double with a fresh white colour scheme, ample storage, and a fantastic en-suite wet room, where you can prepare for the day in style with a revitalising soak in the shower.

Another  double with inbuilt storage and a day bed with a pull-out bed to suit your sleeping arrangements can be found further down the corridor; all of the bedrooms have TVs with Freeview.

The family bathroom is a stylish space, with spotlighted steps leading up to a bath where you may unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

The chalet is encircled by enclosed decking, which provides a pleasant location to relax in with plenty of seats and why not make use of the barbecue to mix up the cooking?  The sundeck also has an external utility where you can wash your sandy clothing before heading out for the day; ideal after a day at the beach too!

Be sure to explore the  wide range of activities at the holiday park, including a spa, gym, multiple swimming pools, a bar/restaurant, , as well as access to its own beach!  After enjoying the park's fantastic facilities, travel a short distance to the charming village of Abersoch, where you can try your hand at surfing or sailing along the shores of two fabulous beaches, either alone or with the help of Abersoch Sailing School, before treating yourself to a delectable meal at one of the many restaurants along the high street, or taking part in a golf tournament at the local golf club.

Anglers in the group will appreciate Abersoch's proximity to Jenny II's Fish 'N' Trip, where they can board a boat to the St Tudwals Islands for an exciting afternoon on the water; another boat departs from Porth Meudwy for Bardsey Island, where they can spend some time exploring the idyllic location.

Llanbedrog and Pwllheli, both close to the park, provide a variety of activities; or venture farther away to the scenic areas of Uwchmynydd and Porthdinllaen, where you may stroll along the headlands.

Choose a stay at The Warren D7 for a getaway you'll never forget.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.

Note: The caravan is next to a running stream. Note: Towels are Not provided. Note: No commercial vehicles, boats, caravans or camper vans to be parked on site. Note: Access to the Spa on site is available, treatments and use of the spa is charged locally.
