“Nice chalet in a great good spot.”

Bit short on some things in the kitchen but generally really nice.

The property

Abersoch 1.3 miles.

The Warren K38 is a wonderful lodge, located in an exceptional position in a five-star holiday resort, close to the harbour village of Abersoch.

This is an excellent location for a family trip at any time of year, as it has enough parking for up to three cars and is close to a variety of facilities and the beach.

Step over the decking area and into the open-plan living space, which features eclectic yet stylish décor; the sitting room displays this style with a mid-century armchair, bursts of colour, and pretty accents.

After cuddling up to the fire and watching TV with your loved ones, make your way through the area to the great kitchen, which features duo-tone fixtures and a fantastic choice of appliances and utensils, making dinner preparation a breeze!

When the group's chef has prepared a delicious meal, savour it at the adjoining dining table, which has transparent chairs and is brightly lit.

As the evening draws to a close, make your way through the lodge to one of three inviting bedrooms, the first of which is a stylish king-size with its own TV, built-in wardrobe, and an en-suite shower room, as well as a double room with bright furnishings and built-in storage, and a twin room with overhead cabinets.

The family bathroom has a heated towel rail where you can leave your towels to warm up while you enjoy a relaxing bath; ideal for those evenings after a day of walking, riding, or surfing.

The sundeck has plenty of chairs for you to relax on while reading a good book or sipping a cup of coffee in the sea breeze.

Take advantage of your surroundings by spending time at the park's fantastic amenities, such as The Warren Spa and Technogym; younger members of the group can explore the soft play area or The Hub.

The beach is only a few steps away from the chalet, where you may paddle, beachcomb, and surf until your heart's content, before returning to the park for an evening dinner at The Warren Sandbar.

Visit Abersoch by foot along the Llyn Coastal Path or by car, where you can browse the many independent shops lining the high street before playing a round of golf at the local club or visiting the village's beautiful beaches, where you can try your hand at sailing with Abersoch Sailing School or take a boat trip to the St Tudwals Islands from Abersoch Harbour Beach.

Wander farther afield to Aberdaron, where hikers will be pleased by the trails that weave around the Mynydd Mawr headland, where you can enjoy breath-taking views of the sea and Bardsey Island and observe birds in the Arfordir Treftadaeth Penrhyn Lln nature reserve.

Llanbedrog and Pwllheli are easy to access from the park and make for fantastic days out by the seaside, or venture deeper into the mainland to find Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and a plethora of picture-postcard communities.

The Warren K38 offers a great base for a family retreat, all-year-round.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.

Note: The chalet is on the main track of the Warren which can be noisy. Note: The caravan is next to a running stream. Note: Towels are Not provided. Note: No commercial vehicles, boats, caravans or camper vans to be parked on site. Note: Access to the Spa on site is available, treatments and use of the spa is charged locally.
