“Wow what an amazing house and facilities, we would love to return !”

It was my husbands 50th so we spent time with friends we hadn’t seen in a long time. The only things that we found we needed were tea towels and oven gloves as we cooked a roast on the Sunday . We will know next time. There’s a leak from the ceiling in the downstairs toilet which could do with a repair. We did bring towels but it does say on one of the sites that towels were included, so we nearly never until my husband spotted it. The location was fab, just off the high street and the ...

We will know next time. There’s a leak from the ceiling in the downstairs toilet which could do with a repair. We did bring towels but it does say on one of the sites that towels were included, so we nearly never until my husband spotted it. The location was fab, just off the high street and the house had a great parking area to the front for all our cars. The back yard area was heated which is great at this time of year. The bedrooms were a great size with lots of wardrobe space . The bathrooms again were top notch. Pending price we’d love to come in the summer of 2024. We will be in touch . The property

Ty Coed is a well-presented, detached property in the centre of Abersoch.

Ty Coed is an ideal home for a group or large family of ten, with plenty of off-road parking for up to four vehicles and a boat or jet ski, as well as dog-friendly accommodation.

Upon entering the property, proceed down the hallway to find an excellent kitchen/diner, where the designated chef can head to the shaker-style kitchen to prepare delectable meals with the ample appliances, including a dishwasher and wine chiller, and granite worktops; the dining area features an oak dining table that can be expanded to seat the entire group.

After dinner, assemble the party in the sitting room, where you can sink down on the ample seating and watch a movie on the TV; those looking for a quiet corner can head to the snug, an appealing space with modern seats and a TV.

The utility room completes the ground floor, where you may wash sandy items in the washing machine and store beach equipment and wetsuits.

Climb the stairs to the first level, where five well-appointed bedrooms await.

The first is a king-size room with serene, earthy tones throughout, followed by another king-size room with coastal characteristics, a lively double, a twin, and a bunk room.

The bedrooms share access to two impressive bathrooms, the first of which is a spacious room with a large, p-shaped bath and freestanding basin for you to refresh in, and the second of which is a shower room with a double walk-in cubicle; there is also a cloakroom with a basin and WC for your convenience.

A charming patio can be found to the rear of the home, where you may enjoy a bit of peace and quiet while reading a riveting book.

The property's central location means that all of your amenities, from convenience stores to highly rated restaurants, including St Tudwals Inn, are just a short walk away; after exploring the high street, wander down to the coast to find two excellent beaches, Abersoch Harbour Beach and Abersoch Main Beach, as well as an award-winning golf club, Abersoch Golf Club.

The Lln Coastal Path leads to three additional spectacular beaches, including Machroes and Hells Mouth, as well as the Cilan Headland, where you can take in the panoramic sea views or join the Cilan Riding Centre for a day of horseback riding among the coastal countryside.

Just north of Abersoch is the welcoming village of Llanbedrog, where you may sunbathe or walk along the popular, dog-friendly beach while taking in the scenery of Cardigan Bay, or explore the region's historical sites, including as the Plas Glyn-y-Weddw Gallery and the chapel of Rehoboth.

The market town of Pwllheli is only a few minutes away and has a number of attractions to visit, as well as a train station where you can board the train to discover the towns of Porthmadog and Criccieth, or change at Porthmadog to access the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, which leads to fascinating destinations throughout Gwynedd.

Choose Ty Coed for a great family vacation.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
