Diane “This place is a really diamond everything you need and more for your family holiday”
- Diane, August 2020 -
Robert “Accommodation was a lot nicer and bigger then expected.”
Although the owners were in the next property they kept themselves hidden when they weren't needed.
- Robert, December 2019Barbara “We have just returned from a family holiday at Bryn EIra.”
We were based in the Stables which was very comfortable. Unfortunately on booking we were not informed about the number of steep tiled internal steps on the ground floor which made it very difficult for our elderly parents to access most of the rooms and hall. Toddlers beware too!!! We hope this review is helpful. B. Sanderson. 19th Sept 2019
- Barbara, September 2019Emma Tollefson “Nice sized rooms plus large kitchen, conservatory and lounge areas for big groups to congregate”
- Emma Tollefson, Mar 2019Julie Dennis “The house was lovely.”
One of the best ones we have stayed in. Some lovely touches, like the trays with cake and tea. The beds were all made and we all had towels provided. The actual house is stunning, with everything you could need provided. The swimming pool and the games room are excellent added benefits and we used both a lot. The garden is fantastic, especially with it being enclosed you can let the kids and dogs out knowing they won’t eacape.
- Julie Dennis, Nov 2018“This was a lovely house, beautifully decorated with a lot of thought given to the finishing touches to the decor.”
We were very pleased with the location. It would have been excellent without the rather inefficient hot water system. There was no information about the hot water system in the guest information pack. You had to run litres of water before you got any form of hot water in the kitchen. a complete waste of good water. We had to boil the kettle to get anywhere near decent temperature water for washing up. The shower would suddenly run cold for periods during showering, rather unpleasant!
- , Aug 2018“Clean and well equipped.”
Great outdoor and indoor space. Perfect for large, multi generation family holiday.
- , Jul 2018Tracey Hill “Fantastic cottages in a great location.”
Booked both The Stables and The Tack Room for a family celebration. Eleven of us stayed here, of various ages from 5 to 55 years. We all had a fabulous time. The cottages were clean and spacious with everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. At no point did it feel cramped or overcrowded. The pool, den and gardens were enjoyed by us and we have brought home plenty of great memories that we will all treasure for a very long time. We're all hoping to repeat the experience again next year.
- Tracey Hill, Jul 2018Richard Abramson “Being between Anglesey and Snowdonia was perfect for us, plus being close to Menai Bridge with a lot of good restaurants.”
The 'cottage' was large and very well equipped.

About the location
LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLL
Menai Bridge 2 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.
Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.
