Barclodiad y Gawres (a Neolithic burial chamber) is located on the headland just beyond the pretty beach of Cable Bay.
A little further on is Newborough Forest, home to the red squirrel and a fantastic area to explore both on foot or bikes. A walk along the beach here leads you to the magical Llanddwyn Island.
