Built into the cliffside, and overhanging the water at high tide, staying in Manadwyn holiday house feels like setting sail on a ship. Virtually all the windows look out to sea and you will be mesmerised by the ever changing views of the moving tides and wildlife throughout the day.

"Wow! Perched alongside the iconic Menai Bridge, picturesque Manadwyn is instantly recognisable and has to be one of the most photographed houses on Anglesey. Oozing history - reputed to have been built as a smuggler's den before the bridge even existed. Now, a rustic 'New England' style holiday home ready to be enjoyed by all."

There is no place I would rather be than sitting on the balcony or roof terrace with my coffee, watching the oystercatchers dip in and out of the glistening flecks of the sea against the backdrop of the spectacular Britannia Bridge.

You could even arrange for our friends at Rib Ride Boat Trips to pick you up and run you and your guests down to the Gazelle or Dylan's Restaurant in Menai Bridge, before heading off to Puffin Island to watch the seals.

An unusual multi-level house (you will arrive to a doorway on the roof!) it is designed to take full advantage of the magnificent surroundings. The rooms have all been styled with an eclectic mix of vintage finds, shabby chic and modern furniture complemented by a carefully selected combination of marine themed accessories, artwork and mementos (including original waterskis from the 1950s). Manadwyn's unrivalled character and feeling will ensure you have a truly memorable holiday here.
