Marian FarmBeaumaris, Anglesey
This early 18th Century farmhouse is full of character and idiosyncrasies. On the south east corner of Anglesey it is right on the coastal footpath, in a charming and peaceful location with gorgeous sea views.
"A cottage in the truest sense! Steeped in history with thick walls, a large inglenook, beams galore - enjoy the simplicity alongside the modern comforts of central heating and wifi!"
Used as a writer's retreat and family bolthole, the furnishings have been gathered over time and are a comfortable blend of antique and contemporary. The stunning, double-height kitchen is rustic but well-equipped. The large sheltered 'woodland' garden is full of interest, with different levels and aspects, including views to Puffin Island, a firepit for summer evening BBQs, and a conservatory for sunset suppers.
Beautiful Penmon Priory, the fascinating ruins of Castell Aberlleiniog, and pebbly White Beach are all close by, as are excellent fishing spots and birding areas. Just pull on your boots and walk from the door in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
A short drive takes you to the woods around Henllys Hall where red squirrels thrive. Beaumaris, an attractive town with great restaurants, pubs, cafes and a castle is just 7 minutes away. Gorgeous beaches such as Benllech, Red Wharf Bay and Llanddonna are all within easy reach.

Amazing weather for March! Lovely cottage, beautifully restored, perfect location. We will be back soon.
Lovely cottage where our children could play safely outside and we enjoyed looking at the night sky and the boats way out at sea. Lovely local area to explore - we enjoyed Penmon Beach and Black Point and also not far to the lovel…
Our first time on Anglesey and it's lived up to and exceeded expectations. We love Marian Farm and we miss the peace and tranquillity.
