Plas Cefn MawrBrynsiencyn, Anglesey
This pretty farmhouse dates back to the 16th Century, and it has been restored and renovated with great attention to detail. Look out for a tiny window in the sitting room - this used to be the pantry where meat was hung from hooks in the ceiling (now home to a flat screen TV!)
"A great house in a great location, close to Llanddwyn Island and its long golden beach. Menai Bridge is ten minutes away and the house is beautifully presented."
Situated midway between the mountains and the beaches, Plas Cefn Mawr holiday house is just a short distance from Plas Newydd, the home of the Marquis of Anglesey which is owned by the National Trust. Just down the road, the pretty little bay at Moel y Don on the Menai Strait is popular with fishermen and makes the perfect place to launch a boat. Here you can also join the Anglesey Coastal Path and experience some wonderful scenery.
Plas Cefn Mawr has all the comforts of the 21st Century and is a beautifully presented holiday house, comfy and welcoming.
