Overview

This delightful, traditional Welsh cottage, in the south east corner of Anglesey, stands in its own enclosed garden and has fantastic, peaceful views over fields towards the Menai Straits and the mountains.

"Dear little Ty Hir, a favourite with many guests. A traditional Welsh Cottage with fantastic views. As one guest said 'Not really a holiday cottage, more a home.'"

Ty Hir holiday cottage is situated on a quiet lane which has easy access to plenty of foot paths and cycling routes nearby. The village of Llangoed, which has it's own shop and post office, is a 5-minute walk away. A short drive away is Beaumaris, which is full of interesting places to visit. It has a splendid castle with swans on the moat, a gaol and a great variety of tempting shops, galleries as well as some of the best eating places on Anglesey.

You can even walk to Lleiniog beach in approximately 20-30 minutes - the beach has free parking and no dog restrictions.

As always a very warm welcome from Ruth and Huw for this our 11th visit. We never tire of waking in this lovely cottage for the wonderful views across the Straits to the mountains.

Back again and once again really enjoyed our time in this very peaceful place - thank you Ruth for a lovely welcome. Weather some beautiful days and some misty days. Enjoyed a lovely meal at The Dutch pancake House at Conwy.
