SaronPorthmadog, Llŷn Peninsula
We are so pleased to have Saron on our website! Blessed with heavenly countryside views, this beautiful, recently renovated former chapel is in a rural spot, but it's still just a short drive to everywhere. The owner has carefully restored the property, keeping many of the original features which add to its charm.
"Blessed with heavenly views this former chapel is in a stunningly wild and beautiful location. A carefully restored property with all the modern day trappings that you would want and need!"
From the doorstep, you can take a stroll around Llyn Cwmystradllyn. This natural lake has been enlarged to form a reservoir, and lies in a basin between the wild mountains of Moel Hebog and Moel Ddu.
The busy town of Porthmadog is only a short drive away and has everything you will need - shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pubs. It's also home to some of North Wales' best attractions including the Welsh Highland Railway and the Italianate village of Portmeirion. On your drive to Saron, look out for a remarkable edifice, originally built as a slate slab mill, which now resembles a ruined monastery - quite a sight!
