This splendid holiday cottage is just the place to unwind and re-charge your batteries in North Wales. With original beams and features from the 18th century, this holiday cottage has character in abundance. We can just imagine sitting in the dining room that oozes period charm and enjoying a social family supper. As the dining room has a fireplace, it would even make for cosy meals during the winter months - maybe even a Christmas or New Year getaway!
‘‘First guest comment: 'Love Wales and love this house!'. Enjoy both at this splendid cottage - there is lots to see and do close by. You must have dinner in the magnificent dining room!’’
The games room is also great fun for quiet evenings in, or if you fancy a quiet day not venturing out. Tyddyn Morthwyl has extensive gardens to enjoy so you can also sit with a cuppa (or glass of wine!) on one of the patio areas and watch as the children play in the clean, fresh air. There is ample parking which helps to make this a great holiday cottage for a family get together in North Wales!
Tyddyn Morthwyl is only a short drive to the popular and charming seaside town of Criccieth on the Llŷn Peninsula. Criccieth has fantastic cafés, restaurants and pubs as well as the beach and great walks nearby, of course! If you wanted to venture a bit further the Italian village of Portmeirion is a short drive away, as are the lovely towns of Pwllheli and Porthmadog. It's also not too far if you do want to venture slightly further afield and get a taste of Snowdonia whilst staying here. Tyddyn Morthwyl is a fab holiday cottage in a great spot to explore everything that the Llŷn Peninsula and North Wales has to offer.

Our second visit and every bit as wonderful as last year. Love the house and were able to spend much time in the garden due to the weather. Thank you
We were probably not expecting the house to be as big and as spectacular as it was. We were a group of nine including three children and there was plenty of space for us all. Whilst we have holidayed in many parts of Wales and Ang…
Our 3rd year at Tyddyn Morthwyl, the home seemed even more warm and welcoming. It's been perfect for us to celebrate our daughters 18th here. Visited a few "new haunts" enjoyed the National Trust "manor" at Hell's Mouth. Thanks!
