Tyddyn Parthle is a superb holiday home located in the small village of Bontnewydd, just south of Caernarfon.

Arriving at the cottage, down the quiet lane you will be greeted by greenery, peace and tranquillity; it is a great setting for a family of six wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of life.

The cottage itself has been finished to a beautiful standard, and has the perfect mix of contemporary touches along with quaint décor, which you will notice as you enter the sitting room where a toasty electric fire, ample seating and TV awaits.

The dining room makes for a delightful socialising spot, with exposed beams and a woodburning stove giving the space a welcoming and rustic feel.

The kitchen enjoys a mixture of wooden and sleek furnishings, where the chef of the group will be pleased with the ample appliances at hand.

When sleep calls, climb the stairs to find three stylish bedrooms, including: a king-size, double and a bunk bed that is ideal for children.

The property is served by a sleek bathroom with a bath for you to soak in after a day packed with fun, along with a handy cloakroom.

The sunny seating areas are great spaces to unwind in, with the front area hosting dining seating and the rear garden containing a lawn for the kids to play on.

The nearby village of Bontnewydd hosts a handy convenience store and isn't far from the stunning Gypsy Wood Park.

Be sure to visit Caernarfon, where all of your amenities rest in one setting, along with ample attractions, including Caernarfon Castle and Victoria Dock.

The next stop is the picture-postcard village of Llanberis where the Llanberis Lake Railway, National Slate Museum and Dolbadarn Castle await.

From Tyddyn Parthle you have easy road access to both the Snowdonia National Park, the Llyn Peninsula and the stunning beach of Dinas Dinlle.

About the location

CAERNARFON

Llanberis 8 miles; Bangor 9 miles.

Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has much historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a popular tourist spot with its impressive 13th Century castle, well preserved town walls and delightful water front. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Fishing trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Snowdonia, including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon.
