Overview

Uwch y Môr is a delightful 19th century stone holiday cottage in Llanfairfechan. It has been lovingly refurbished to provide all the modern comforts whilst retaining its warmth, charm and character. Sitting in an elevated position above the seaside village of Llanfairfechan, which lies between Conwy and Bangor, there are panoramic views of Anglesey and the surrounding countryside. Uwch y Môr is in a fabulous spot for exploring both the coastal and mountain landscapes of Snowdonia, both of which are utterly captivating.

"Delightfully refurbished stone cottage nestling on the hillside above the seaside town of Llanfairfechan with spectacular coastal views."

Originally developed as a Victorian seaside resort, Llanfairfechan retains so much of its original charm. It has a long sandy stretch of beach, slipway, promenade, boating lake, paddling pool and gardens with tennis courts,  picnic areas, playground and skate park. And for those of you who love golf, there is a club just a few 100 yards from the cottage.

Uwch Y Môr sits at the northern edge of the Snowdonia National Park - there's easy access to historic trails such as the ancient Roman Road or The Druids' Circle. You are just 15 minutes drive away from the fabulous island of Anglesey and an equally brief journey in the other direction takes you to the walled town of Conwy and its iconic medieval castle.

Llanfairfechan has a well-stocked small supermarket, a butcher and a variety of small shops, cafes and restaurants.
