Ysgol Jones BachCaernarfon, Snowdonia
From the outside you sense the history of this nineteenth-century school, but once you step inside it is a modern, bright pad. The original mullioned windows perfectly frame the River Seiont, flowing down to the Menai Strait, under the swing bridge and past the Castle, arguably the best in Wales!
"Well you have to book it just for the name, and for the views from the slate terraced area. A bright modern pad, we love it!"
A small traffic free lane leads down from the side of the cottage to the bustling town centre dominated by the mighty Caernarfon Castle, a celebrated World Heritage Site, so shops, pubs and cafés are all within walking distance. Doc Fictoria is home to a selection of bars and restaurants, but also has a theatre, arts centre and maritime museum.

Beautiful building and excellent location. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Would definitely visit again.
A lovely place to stay. Amazing views of castle and river. Very well equipped too. Many thanks for the welcome pack and the lovely flowers.
Great kitchen, loved the view. Recommend hiring bikes from Beics Menai and following the train track.
