Benllech is the 5th largest town on Anglesey and boasts a golden blue flag beach in a bay flanked by cliffs. You can walk along the beach to Red Wharf Bay, when the tide is out, stopping halfway for a well-deserved meal or a drink at the Tavern.
Benllech has plenty of facilities including a newly built Doctor's surgery, a dentist, pharmacy, Tesco Extra, Co-op and Spar as well as an excellent butcher and fishmonger.
It has a cracking fish and chip shop, The Golden Fry, and a great cafe in the village, Bradley's Deli, and down on the beach, you can enjoy wonderful views across the beach from The Bay Cafe.
There are two nature reserves nearby Cors Goch and Cors Erddreiniog, and a good car boot sale from April to September that opens at 7am on Saturday mornings.
