Sea ShantyTrearddur Bay, Anglesey
Sea Shanty, Treaddur Bay, Anglesey, North Wales
Where else can you see 150 bottles of sand from beaches around the world? Walking into Sea Shanty is like walking into another world. Artistically decorated, it's a real homage to all things maritime. Peruse beach finds from across the globe whilst eating a delicious meal!
“It’s always sunny in here.”
First to meet you is the traditional magnificent mahogany ice cream parlour - flavours galore and countless cone varieties! Then follow through to the most amazing driftwood-clad dining and decking area, but not without passing the worlds only restored nickelodeon!
A breakfast buffet, £8 all you can eat; followed by meal options running through from lunch to dusk. You can go all out with a tuna steak, braised steak or Anglesey mussels. Or feeling a little more traditional the cod and chips or towering burger will be sure to fill you up!
Phil who owns Sea Shanty can talk all about the boats on the ceiling, jars of shells and beachcombing finds, pictures and memories that adorn the walls of this fantastic cafe. Completely quirky, listen to the shipping forecast or the sounds of the waves when you spend a penny or see how an old anchor can power a clock! When in Trearddur Bay make sure you look out for the clock tower resting on the Sea Shanty’s roof. We recommend popping a £2 coin into the nickelodeon to give young and old a treat and at the same time help fund a new footpath along the coast.
